We have been going to Grass Valley for over 20 years since we have family there and we know every hotel and inn but we will only stay at Sierra Mountain from this point forward...what a gem! Cannot say enough great things about this place! Already booking for December! Love Sierra Mountain Inn!!! We are so happy...

While I’m a great location for enjoying downtown Grass Valley and exploring the local area, you won’t get much sleep to enjoy those activities. This motel not only has thin walls but also includes features like the entire floor shaking when a door is slammed or someone walks with a heavy step. Maybe I only noticed this because there were children staying in the rooms on either side of me but it’s enough for me to not try again on my return trips to the area.

Seamless check in and room was clean. I was not expecting the extra bedroom which turned out to be handy as my wife snores up a storm... kidding! I am the guilty one.
