Comfort Suites

While on our way driving to check in from San Jose Airport, the hotel called. They had somehow gotten our reservation confused, and they overbooked our room type. HOWEVER, the staff went above and beyond to find us an alternate room type that accommodated our family of 5. The staff made the difference between a great experience and a miserable one (the other hotels in town were booked up for a sports event). The room was comfortable and clean, and we'd stay here again if in Clovis. The town of Clovis was a good starting point for Sequoia / King's Canyon and Yosemite. Gas in town was relatively inexpensive for California. Again, the staff was great here. Even the lady putting breakfast out was friendly and enjoyable to talk with. Our previous stays with other Comfort Suites has proven consistent with their staff, and we were very grateful. Other hotels could learn something from them.

We rented a room with a jetted tub. Checked in and not only did the jets in the tub not work, the bottom of the tub was covered in hair and had a sticky purple substance on the side wall. We had to call the front desk and ask them to fix it. Took 40 minutes to get it fixed. Then, I went to the store to buy a gallon of bleach to run in the tub through the jets before i let my toddler play in the tub since it clearly had not been cleaned in God knows how long if ever. The floor was gross in the corner by the window and next to the bed. The bathroom obviouslt hadnt been cleaned in a while either as there were stains on the hand towels and crumbs stuck to one of them. Only reason i stayed is my husband is stationed at the basin fire and this is the closest hotel with opening so we could see him as much as possible. The swimming pool outside had blood covered bandaids on the sidewalk, cigarette trash on one of the folding chairs and there was tons of trash and leaves in the actual water. Overall it was freaking disgusting.

We travel a family of four .. i like the room the breakfast was delicious .. the pool was small but good . The AC was great very cold for hot weather there .

The staff was great no matter who I spoke to, they were very accommodating and kind. It’s great for a family. 👍👍

I didn’t like the fact that every time I left my room and came back to it. My room card didn’t work. I didn’t have it around anything that would demagnetize it either. Also, my trash wasn’t picked up and I had to request for extra bedding and pillows after I extended my stay. I was double charged, but they took care of it. The staff was extremely helpful and very welcoming to me and my gbabies.

We were traveling into Clovis for a last minute trip to see family. The nightly prices were very reasonable. Breakfast was great and the staff members were very friendly. It was clean, the beds were comfortable, and we had a very nice experience there. Will definitely book again.

It was nice clean very comfortable bed Just room next door they argue in night and had a child crying and crying. But overall the service and room was nice clean and comfortable

Over all this was a good and easy family hotel .. free breakfast .. however our key would stop working each night so we had to have it reprogrammed EACH night .. lame

Staff was extremely friendly, a pleasure to do business with and was very personalable to us adults and children. The free breakfast was great especially the fresh made waffle maker

We chose this place because it was a suite with a couch that folded out into a bed for our child. Unfortunately, the fold-out mattress was so poor that we didn't want our child to sleep on it. All other amenities were great. We enjoyed the pool and the waffles
