Discovered at check-in that this Courtyard Marriott has a non-refundable Pet fee of $100. This was not disclosed or shown anywhere on Hotel.com. I specifically chose this hotel vs another hotel because it was listed as Pet-friendly. This fee is excessive and totally unnecessary. I have a small dog, 10lbs. The fee is just as much as my 1 night hotel stay. They might as well say that they don’t want dogs, because this fee is a deterrent and I’ll never stay here or travel with my dog again. I also specifically asked on Hotel.com for a quiet room, away from entry doors and elevators. The same person thought it was a brilliant ideal to book me right next to a noisy family with small children. They were incredibly loud all night and also early in morning, before 8am. One of the small children much have left the hotel room unattended, she came back to what she thought was her room and instead knocked on my door. I thought it was housekeeping, but noticed the mom opened the door and took the small child in. Completely disrespectful and inconsiderate people. I got a horrible nights sleep thanks to your staff placing me next to this noisy family. Why, I don’t know because the hotel is empty. Why place all guests together next to each other?? Last, the sofa inside the room was filthy and covered with stains. I took pic and advised the hotel rep who checked me in, told him the sofa was already filthy and it was not due to my dog as I won’t even let him near it and he’s sleeps on floor.

The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was wonderful, especially Brittany at the front desk. She took the best care of our family during our stay, and we had 3 rooms! We all felt that the customer service was the best.

We stayed in 2 rooms with our family of 8. Checkin was a breeze. I walked in the lobby around 6:30 with my arms raise like to announce I was here and Mark at the front desk asked "Mr. Cook?". I responded yes and within a couple of minutes I was headed to our rooms. This was the first time that I had stayed at this hotel but I did call a couple of hours earlier to request that the 2 rooms would be adjacent. It must to have been Mark on the phone too because he said he would set me up on the ground floor next to the pool. We had 3 grandchildren with us that kept asking when we were going to the hotel and go swimming. Mark had set us up within 10 steps of the pool gate and it was perfect. I don't stay in Tucson often, but when I will in the future it will be here.
