Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Scottsdale - Old Town, an IHG Hotel

We all enjoyed our time immensely and it was perfect for our fun family getaway

One of the staff were really rude and didn’t even want to answer any of our questions. Additionally we booked for 6 whole nights but only got house keeping service and cleaning 1 day which doesn’t make sense We are a family of five and did not get enough towels. Even though this was available for us and already booked we went to a different hotel. 1 of the Lady’s were super nice usually during the evenings but again some staff were pretty rude.

Spacious rooms and safe environment near downtown Scottsdale. Lovely area! Came for a family gathering of sorts. Very economical but provided great amenities!

We stayed here with our 3 grandchildren while traveling. Was very pleased with the cleanliness of the rooms, pool, hot tub and breakfast area. The breakfast had good food and many options. Our grandchildren loved it.

My family stayed there 3 days and then extended one more day. Spacious room, friendly front desk, nice pool, nice breakfast, reasonable prices and more.

If I return to Scottsdale area, I would definitely stay here again. Those working the front desk were all so nice and helpful whenever I needed something (snacks, directions, laundry bags, etc.). This hotel is walking distance to Old Town Scottsdale with many restaurants, bars, and shopping. It’s not your typical mall shopping either but specialty stores, antiques, souvenirs. I stayed here with my family. It caters to both families and adults because of everything around that’s close by. Breakfast options are pretty good (hot breakfast) and items switched up daily. There’s always one type of egg, a couple options for protein (bacon or sausage). Daily pancakes, muffins, bagels and cinnamon rolls. There’s oatmeal and cereal so there’s options which my family liked. Coffee was just okay but hey, beds we’re comfortable and rooms were clean. I had the balcony room on the second floor and it was hard to access because the bed blocks it but I was still able to sit on the balcony. Parking was tight at times because it’s in the same lot as a restaurant that gets real busy but with free parking that’s ok. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here. No complaints.

First I didn’t like the room window it had no screen so people could just look in your room and we were on the bottom floor. Second at 8 in the morning kids were screaming at the top of their lungs at the pool I know it’s not the hotels fault but should have some type of sound barrier and 3rd same screaming family was right above us and banged the floor all night and morning we got no sleep!!!

When my husband had was in the nearby hospital for 10 days my family stayed at this property. Angel was the manager and he was exceptional the energy was great, it was a comfortable relaxing place to return to every night. This time my husband had a early procedure scheduled so we stayed the night before and night after. Angel was no longer the manager and the overall feeling was different and not in a good way. They put us on the ground floor near parking. The room smelled a bit like cat urine, and while we were by a door with handicapped parking nearby there was no lighting and it was very dark. I was concerned about our car all night. The room appeared clean and was very comfortable with a separate living room area with a couch. Hopefully no more hospital visits

This hotel was perfect for my little family trip. Hotel was clean and staff was very friendly. I was really skeptical about this hotel due to it being so great in price but once I got there it was perfect. The entire hotel room was really clean and rooms were cleaned after each night. Will definitely stay here again for my next trip.

My family enjoyed the breakfast time, the space in the room.
