It really was A game if 2 halves . My initial experience was fantastic from the lovely room to the fab pool and the food in the restaurant and not least the lovely location. I was a little apprehensive because of some of the negative views but I stay in hotels all the time with work and I’ve no idea what the moaners are on abt …HOWEVER … 2 staff incidents really dropped my high opinion of the hotel hugely. Day before we left me , my son and one other family were playing with inflatables in the pool . There were NO signs to say inflatables couldn’t used . All of a sudden a member of staff (older, glasses, blond woman) marched into the pool area and barked at the top of her voice “no inflatables are allowed in the pool , you’ll have to remove them all now as another family are coming in to use the pool”!! That other family consisted of a mum and her daughter so that was a total of 3 families in the pool. I felt so sorry for the kids who were crestfallen , doing no harm to anyone and it really left a bitter taste in my mouth. As did the gastapo type ‘investigation’ regarding whether a ‘special’I was querying on my bill actually was on on the menu the night before . The receptionist rang god knows how many people as to whether it was £12 or £9 !! A difference of £3! I train customer service skills in retail for a living and there’s a cut off point you keep a customer waiting and a ‘well how much are we querying here ‘? It was even passed to a manager, felt like a criminal :(

Lovely stay, the location of this hotel blew me away, a private (ish) beach with a fantastic restaurant and bar, the staff were so friendly. The reception were so kind and lovely and really accomodated my kids. I really loved the pool area , it was so fun! perfect having the kiddy pool and the jaccuzi area but the jaccuzi isnt actually a hot one (but water was warm) and i think the spa facilities are being built. My fam and Inplayed board games all night. breakfast was amazing, being able to order dishes rather than just a buffet style. my kids were very difficult at breakfast and there was some confusion about how our booked time for breakfast got changed. the breakfast staff although friendly made us feel awful about it and were very rude even though we apologised profusedly for the erroe (i think reception made the error to be honest) and I felt they were rolling their eyes at us and being quite passive aggresive. Other than that fabulous stay!

Nice couple of days..Cannot fault location on the beach. Room a bit bland, but comfortable enough, good family space.

Great 2 night last minute stay with my 2 children (age 7 & 9). Lovely warm welcome from staff, beautiful reception area. Family room had a great view and 2 bathrooms. Very good value for money. Ate in the bistro, great selection of food.

We booked two rooms for a family stay - one sea view double and one standard double. The sea view was great but the room was quite small which was not ideal for my elderly in-laws. There were two chairs provided but not enough room to position them both to watch the tv. We ate both dinner and breakfast at the hotel. Dinner was great - everyone had a different roast and they were all very tasty. A fairly late breakfast the next morning was not good however. Most of the cooked items were really dry - as if they had been sitting under a hot plate for quite a while. The staff were very friendly and my mother in law loved being by the sea.

Great night away with the kids. Great room with a lovely view of the sea. The staff go above and beyond for anything you need during your stay. Will definitely be back again. Breakfast was lovely too.

Stayed at the beaches hotel with my 2 children, fantastic location, all members of staff were warm & friendly, I’d recommend this wonderful hotel. Will return in the summer hopefully, if there’s availability.

We were disappointed with our stay Looks like it had just been Refurbished This was pleasing to the eye Reception staff need training There was two staff on it was like checking in a faulty towers hotel When we opened the door to our family room it was full of flys and the heat was over bearing We opened all the windows and turned all the radiators off This helped a little The reason the rooms were so hot was because there were hot pups going around the rooms which my grandson burnt his leg on I feel theses should be boxed in Also the hot water was scolding hot and my daughter burnt her finger which blistered We only stayed one night if we were staying longer we would of asked to move rooms Our room No was 212 So if you are a family and wanted a family room here I would avoid room 212 for the reasons I have just given

Very warm welcome, staff all friendly and really helpful. Waitresses at breakfast very attentive. Hotel and rooms are clean. The pool area decent for young families. On the beach, but be mindful of high/low tide times (Aug 22), comes in twice a day, as the sandy beach pretty much dissappears. Close walk to childrens play area and 5 min drive to town centre
