Stayed for a two night "get away" for North Wales and the hotel was ideal for this. First impressions are that whilst the hotel and lobbies are up to date, the room was slightly dated in its decor however, it was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the there was no light pollution which led to a good nights sleep; it was also extremely quiet too. Breakfast which was good (scrambled eggs and salmon- yummy) and used the health club although the pool was full of kids, but it was school holidays so, book carefully. Overall, it was a good stay, the staff were all brilliant and I would happily book this hotel again.

The family lodge was so comfortable, clean and homely. It was great to have parking in front of the lodge and tge views were beautiful. My girls loved the space allocated for a dog called Barkinghamshire in the lounge. The lodge was well designed. The staff were friendly and the food was great. Main village was a 5 min walk , some nice places to see. We had a lovely couple of days, i will definitely be eeturning.

Lovely hotel stayed in a superior lodge which was fine but nothing like the superior family lodge we stayed in a few weeks earlier. That was pure luxury.

We stayed in a family lodge, it was much bigger than expected, all very modern and the kids loved the bunk beds. We had breakfast and dinner (one night) in the hotel, food and service excellent. The pool and facilities lovely, the kids wanted to go in everyday. Location also perfect, we could walk to lots of restaurants and pubs. We would definitely stay here again.

The rooms were simple, but were clean and nice sized with both a bed and a sitting area / couch + TV which was great for relaxing at end of day of hiking/walking. They also had a small patio off the room, which would be nice for enjoying a cup of coffee or sitting out on a nice day. The pool + sauna was a nice amenity, although the water temperatures of the pool and hot tub could have been warmer. The breakfast service was excellent with both hot items (eg, full english breakfast) as well as continental items. Overall, a very comfortable stay for our family and I would return again.
