Stayed in a family room with a spectacular sea view. Staff were an absolute delight and food at the restaurant was delicious. On our last night someone was in the room above and it is worth noting that there is significant noise transfer from above but we were lucky and no one was in there on our other nights.

I booked three rooms for my son and his family in January and I was told by email two weeks before their stay in May that the hotel had changed hands in February and it was under refurbishment and that the bookings were cancelled. Luckily I managed to book a property on Beaumaris for them. This is why I have given ratings of one star, if there was an option to not give any stars I would have chosen that

Great location, lovely views, friendly staff. Room was clean, bathroom decent. Breakfast was great on some days and then kind of ok on another ;) if you are looking for a family budget friendly place where you can sleep that’s central to soooo many attractions then this a place to choose :) the only thing that I would change are the pillows…. ;)

Just stayed one night in the family room. Bathroom was newly decorated and to a really good standard. Room was dated and dirty, with window sills and frames mouldy, bed headboard dusty, wallpaper peeling off, carpet in need of changing, but most importantly the door lock was not working!

This is a classic traditional seaside hotel. Rooms weee comfortable, Stayed in a family room , room 20 , OMG what a view over the pier and the seafront. The staff as well were really friendly and helpful - had a slight issue over my own doing , and the really did go out of the way to resolve it for me. Nice local pub , coffee shop and Italian within walking distance but very quiet and chilled with a short walk / £3.50 cab into the main town
