I've been in more hotel rooms than the Gideon Bible. Take it from a guy who has traveled more than 4 million miles reporting for NBC News, the Culloden hotel in Inverness, Scotland, is one of the best. Not just for the obvious reasons. For Kyle who carried gear up four floors. For Rebecca who hand wrote recommendations from her childhood memories. For Steve who found transportation others could not. Those are only a few names I remember. If you find a hotel that feels like home, stay there.

The most beautiful historical hotel with a staff that makes you feel like family. I can’t say enough great things about this property!
