Village Hotel Glasgow

Very comfortable stay in the room and beautiful event room for our family gathering

Wonderful stay without any issues! Very convenient location for my work and holiday for my family. Children loved swimming pool.

A 10 min walk to train for a 9 min trip to Glasgow Central. Or a bus ride from outside the hotel. Hotel lounge is nice with Starbucks. Pool is great - specific slots for families keep it clear for those without kids. Works for everyone. 2-5.30pm for kids and after 9am. Friendly staff.

The staff at the hotel couldn't have been more accommodating, special mention for all the grill restaurant staff, they were very helpful especially with our two young kids, they done everything they could to make them happy. Bery much appreciated. We did not encounter any member if the hotel staff who was not pleasant, funny and willing to go above and beyond to assist. Our new priority hotel for staying in Glasgow from now on.

If we are up Glasgow way again we will be definitely returning for another stay. The room was spacious and comfortable and the venue had the bonus of a swimming pool which was great for the whole family. Didn’t try the bar or food there so cannot comment on that but the staff were very helpful and friendly.

My kids found the previous persons very personal property under the bed, which made for some super awkward explanations. The food in the restaurant wasn’t great either

Had an amazing stay kids loved it only problem I had was there wasn’t enough pillows in room & not enough sockets

Lovely hotel. Nice to have 2 double beds for a family room instead of one bed plus a sofa bed (like many other hotels do). Great location for the Ovo Hydro. Just a shame I didn’t get a chance to enjoy the pool and spa facilities.

Property easy to find & close to city centre. It was busy & noisy at the start of our stay but we has not realised that there was a local football match with lots of supporters at this hotel. Check in was initially unmanned but when staff did arrive they were helpful. Restaurant meal was good and there was an offer on for kids meals. Again staff were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was tasty with plenty of options to suit the whole family. Weekend parking was free which was a bonus. Room was spacious but needed a bit more attention to detail in the cleaning but overall would definitely use again.

We have stayed in other village hotels as the pool is great for the grandchildren and heated too. The staff are very helpful and the service is good. Room size is good for a family of four, but the cleanliness wasn’t upto standard and asked to be moved. We were moved immediately but even though this room was better but still not cleaned how it should. I wouldn’t recommend the breakfast as not much to choose from and the bacon and sausages were disgusting. I would still recommend the hotel and it would be perfect if these faults were sorted out. I would definitely recommend the science centre just over the road. The kids loved it and so much to see and do.
