Sandyford Hotel

After discovering black mould in the bathroom, the following morning, after saying and having to leave early because of a planned day out with family upon returning, I then complained and told them what I had seen and took pictures of and left a day early. Told reception and was offered another room which was never an option. After seeing what I saw. I was then told to email and complain to no response. Then ringing I was told I was emailed which I wasn’t and told that I should’ve complained straight away yet I put my stuff virtually in the room, stayed there for awhile and went out for the evening. At one point, I put the light switch on in the bathroom to discover black mould everywhere

Stayed in the family room for one night. The room was basic but the beds were comfy enough and the room was clean. That's all that was required. The receptionist is so lovely and helpful and the waiting staff for breakfast were very chatty and nice. The breakfast was top class, I expected buffet style but it was all cooked to order, which was amazing. Would definitely stay again

Our family spent five days at Sandyford hotel. There are pros and cons for this accommodation. Pros: - friendly staff, great service. Either in reception or in the kitchen - the staff is wonderful, working hard trying to help visitors. The hotel is in great location - walking distance to Glasgow center and to the famous for restaurants Argyle street. Cons: the facility is very outdated. This hotel requires good upgrade or at least renovation.
