Hotel Indigo Edinburgh, an IHG Hotel

We have booked the family room, its was really big and we have enjoyed our stay there. The breakfast was really good

Upgrade to junior suite. Friendly, efficient staff. Situation as close to train station and theatre.

Beautiful large room. Spacious for a family of 2 A and 2 C. Quiet and clean.

Great service, was upgraded to a junior suite which was a nice touch, reception team very friendly and helpful. Parked at the OMNI centre about 3 mins walk and with the discount from the hotel we paid £14.40 for 22 hours. Hotel is about 10 mins from the old town. As we were on the ground floor facing the road we could feel the rumble of the passing trams but they stopped around midnight and were passing again around 6.30 - we couldn't really hear much but could feel it - didn't impact our stay at all. Mini fridge was stocked with complimentary snacks and drinks which was another nice touch. Would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel.

We had the family room which was spacious and comfortable for our family of 4. The hotel staff was very helpful throughout our stay, arranging taxis and providing restaurant recommendations. The location was perfect for our arrival by train. We will definitely come back!

Great hotel within a 10 minute walk of Waverley station just behind St James Quarter. Room was available despite us arriving earlier than check in, all handled by effectively by the team. Room was fantastic, plenty of space, family bathroom with bath and a fabulous rainfall shower. Beds were comfy and no road noise. Brilliant stay.

We stayed here as our flight was cancelled flying home from Edinburgh -- even though we got to the hotel well before check-in time, the hotel took our bags and said they would text us if they could get a room ready. About an hour later we received the text and were able to lounge in the hotel and decompress. The room they gave us was absolutely beautiful and very well sized for a city hotel. The beds were very comfortable and the room had been modernized. The location of the hotel is perfect -- about 12 minute walk to the royal mile and about 7 minutes to the mall where there is plenty of shopping and restaurants. If you choose to take the tram from EDI - the stop is quite literally in front of the building, while there is some noise from the tram its not really that noticeable and they provide earplugs if that would be more comfortable for you. Having done a lot of traveling lately with my family I must say IHG is fast becoming one of my favorite hotel group. You know exactly what you are in for, and while not a budget hotel group you are receiving great value for your money.
