The Station Hotel

We stayed here for one night to go to a family birthday party nearby so we never had the chance to fully enjoy the hotel amenities. The hotel location is perfect for all nearby attractions. We will probably stay again in the future perhaps for a longer weekend. We stayed in a twin room on the first floor. Rooms were clean and tidy and the beds were very comfortable. The shower was dreadful however, difficult to control the temperature and the flow rate was very poor. It could probably do with an electric pump being installed installed. The shower door was difficult to close without making a noise. The electric kettle needs checked for automatic switch off. There was no one at reception when we checked out or I would have mentioned it. Breakfast was okay and the waitress was polite and friendly. Cereals/ fruit /fruit juice & yoghurts available and a cooked to order hot breakfast which was a pleasant change to the normal buffets. Over all a good stay and very good value for money gine that a full breakfast was included.

Perfect stay again, on a quick family visit to Carnoustie.
