Tewkesbury Park

Wonderful short break with the family. Rooms looked onto the golf course which was lovely. Great facilities including a gym, pool, steam room and sauna which we all used. Perfect location for visiting the Cotswolds

A lovely 2 night break at the hotel despite inclement weather. The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Slightly surprised, given the nature and standard of the hotel, namely a spa and golfing venue, at the amount of families with young children in residence. It made trying to use the pool for any meaningful exercise impossible as it resembled a creche/children's pool party whenever we attempted it. Disappointing. Another slight niggle was that, having paid for breakfast we had to pay extra for a very sub standard cappuccino which took us 3 attempts to obtain. However when we mentioned this at check out it was removed from the bill. The breakfast itself was buffet style with a good variety of well cooked food. We had hoped to have our evening meal in the hotel but were not inspired by either the restaurant or room service menu. However, the local town had a wide range of reasonably priced eateries that made us feel very welcome. It is a good base for visiting the Cotswolds and surrounding areas by car.
