Holiday Inn Express Taunton M5, Jct. 25, an IHG Hotel

This hotel was good. Would love to stay here again next time. Excellent staff. I forget the name of the lady who received my family but she was very pleasant and give her 5 stars for her service.

Very dog friendly, small bag of gifts given to us for our furry family member. Area available for us to eat together at breakfast time which was really helpful. Staff very friendly.

The hotel itself was very easy to get to and the welcome was lovely and genuine. We had requested a groud floor room due to medical issues. The room was lovely but unfortunately the cups and spoons .were sticky and had coffee stains on them so we had to rewash them. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast wasnt very good the fresh orange juice wasn't juice, it was squash. The scrambled eggs were cold, the bacon was very fatty and again cold. The butter for the bread was cold and solid so ripped the bread unless you had it on toast. Outside the hotel are pillars covered in dog urine, running across the pathway. I get that dogs are part of a family but why let them urinate by the main entrance to the hotel ?

The stay was okay. The room was clean and comfortable and spacious for a family room. However, not having kids complimentary drinks is unfortunate. HIE could say provide hot chocolate from the breakfast counter as complimentary. As it were, the kids could not have coffee or the tea provided.

Very convenient just off the M5. Staff very efficient and helpful. Room was quite small for a family room but it was fine. Breakfast can be taken in restaurant area or taken back to room. Was varied and excellent especially with the restrictions in place. Recommend this hotel and if in the area, I would stay again

Large family room, comfy bed, air con worked well, breakfast fresh and hot. Overall a great experience… it could do with a bit of updating and dedicated charging points but for the money it was good value and very comfortable.

One night stopover, two family rooms. Overall condition of rooms in need of love, bathrooms need updating/renovating, rubbish/dirt found by the puppies under the beds. General service given from the lovely reception staff made the little things seem not worth mentioning!
