We booked a family room we took our grandchildren age 4 and 9. there was two weddings on this weekend we could hear the music till early hours. I don’t think this should be a family room.

My family and I spent two days in this hotel. Everything went well. The hotel is super clean, the rooms are comfortable and quiet, all the staff are super friendly, and the restaurant is excellent. The Breakfast is five stars, with a lot of options. I strongly recommend it.

I stayed in a junior suite with my 8 year old son as a treat for his birthday. Room was very clean with a great view over the marina lake and out to the Mersey. Bed was extremely comfortable had a brilliant sleep. I am disabled and even though room service isn’t an option I rang down to reception and explained I had woken and didn’t feel great was could I have both mine and my sons breakfast delivered to the room and they accommodated me which I think was a really nice touch and showed they obviously go the extra mile where possible. Will defiantly be staying again very enjoyable stay had by both myself and my son.

We have stayed here several times now when returning to Southport to visit family. The rooms have always been lovely, clean and spacious overlooking the marine lake on each occasion. No longer has a fridge which it did on our first stay. Parking underground is a bit pricey now so we parked in the adjacent public car park which was £4.50 for 24 hours. Breakfast was usual buffet selection and although staff were clearly busy they were all very personable and helpful. Will stay here again.

£15 to park car if you book with an agent it’s absolutely disgusting staff not very helpful and look very unhappy family room is tiny nothing going on for new year bar shut at 11 because hotel are in liquidation terrible smell in room like must

Hotel is high end and you can tell with the quality of rooms and decor. Rooms are noise proof. Staff at reception were great. Offered early check-in and late checkout.Views amazing. Nice treat for the family.

We had booked 5 rooms, for 17 of us for a family/friends short break. The hotel couldn't be more central, the location is excellent and the hotel itself is spotless and very stylish. The rooms are lovely and very clean, and breakfast was great. Everything on offer that you could hope for. Our only slight complaints were that we couldn't check in until maybe more like 4:30 as housekeeping were a bit behind, and also the lifts are a bit of a nightmare (And we all had pushchairs so no alternative but to use them). They don't stay open for very long at all, so you have to put yourself in the way of the doors immediately, and you're very often waiting for a long time to get an empty one. Overall the stay was excellent and I'd recommend the hotel to anyone.

Hotel was amazing. Really clean and very well presented. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Would definitely stay again….although more for a couple or families with older children.
