Place to sleep - no ambiance but it served its purpose; decent breakfast; comfy beds. Needed a cheap hotel for the night and that's what we got. Tons of kids - kids park/activities onsite. Free parking which was easy and nice. Beds were really great - soft sheets, good pillows, bed was comfortable - we slept well. Juliet patio doors wouldn't stay shut; waste of energy/heat and cold sleeping with the bed near it. Spacious room - we had a triple I guess.

If you are looking to hide away and have a quite night of rest this is a good place. It is a family hotel and from what I observed -is a great place to stay with kids. I was here to work on some writing and it was pretty ideal. (I think Agatha Christie might approve.) You can go into Wells for wonderful food and enjoy the walks. The staff here is truly lovely.

Stayed in the luxury family room, loads of space for the four of us. The restaurant was nice and fairly priced. Close to the main attractions which you get a discount for staying there. Overall a great place to stay

Very nice . Good value . As it’s a very children focused property with lots of ground it’s a shame there are no swings ad slides for the children

I really enjoyed my stay at the Wookey Hole Hotel. The staff are the stars here without a doubt. Only thing I would say is there only seemed to be one chair in the seating area so not adequate for a twin room meant one of us was either in the hard desk chair or sat on the bed. The other issue was I don't think the rooms were soundproof as stated you could hear everything from the plumbing to the kids in the next room. Despite these small issues everythinh else was perfect clean & comfortable with a great breakfast to set you up for the day & a choice of evening meals including desserts. Also a lovely bar for drinks including teas & coffees.

A nice hotel, quite basic but overall a nice base for visiting Wookey Hole Caves. Food was excellent although choices were limited at dinner, breakfast menu was good. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The only negatives were that there are no mini fridges in the rooms (we needed one for baby milk) and they couldn’t supply one and we had to book a table for dinner which was fine but we were allocated a very late slot and found that there were several empty tables when we went to the restaurant 45mins before our slot but we were seated early with no problems however two of the menu choices were unavailable which wasn’t great with a very limited menu.

We have stayed here before lots of times and the kids loved it cos in the evening they were allowed in part of the Wookey hole (soft play etc). Sadly they dont allow this now and have replaced it with a games room where nearly all the games cost money. If they could reinstate this it would be great! Otherwise this is a good hotel for the price, staff are friendly, breakfast is good. A bit tired in places but what do you expect for the price. Beautiful location
