Hotel is ok. Staff werent overly friendly. Hotel seems to be set up for business trips rather than families. No enough parking and is expensive. Hotel is in the middle of a building site. Witnessed drug deals outside the hotel.

The hotel itself was lovely, staff helpful, I haven’t been to this building since I was a child, when it was formerly the hq for the police in the city (had family who worked there) A nice few nods to this around the building. Although staff didn’t know much about what used to be where in the building, more out of personal interest that we asked. Facilities were great and breakfast lovely. Clean room and comfy beds. Ongoing roadworks around the area make entering and exiting the car park a little tricky at times, and pathways outside the building close at short notice. All out of the hotels control.

Room wasn’t bad for the price - the floor in the bathroom definitely needed some work though as it looked like the joists had lost their integrity and the floor was spongy and unstable to walk on. Grouting was also peeling off. The sofa bed was uncomfortable but the queen bed was fine. I guess, again, to be expected for the price. Breakfast was great! Lots of options, accommodating for dietary requirements, even had a fresh waffle maker! Nicky was great, very friendly and accommodating to us as a family. We arrived at 4pm and checked out just after 10am and had to pay £30 for parking! Crazy. That would likely put me off staying again.

A family trip for my sons birthday celebrations so chose the Hampton as close to the venue. Everything you want in the room including a very powerful shower and wall mounted toiletries which were much easier to use than silly little plastic bottles. Vast selection of breakfast options all beautifully presented - particularly the bacon and perfectly scrambled eggs - and very friendly staff. Will definitely visit again.

Great hotel and central. Stayed in a family room, very clean and comfortable. Lots of construction work going on around the hotel but we didn’t hear anything. Friendly staff and amazing breakfast!

Did a 2 night stay in Sheffield. Couldn't fault the Hampton by Hilton. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Very helpful. Rooms clean and comfortable. Situated within good walking distance to the city center. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Do not, I repeat, DO NOT DRIVE. The parking is horrible. Had to park on the side walk or make our own parking spot even though we paid for parking. Drivers spent at least 45 minutes looking for parking. Parking lot is small. Probably can hold only 50 or less cars. DO NOT GO WITH FAMILY. Only single beds are available for family rooms because the front desk informed us that there are no family rooms. For a hampton by the hilton it was horrible. This is more of a motel. THE STAFF ARE AMAZING AND BREAKFAST IS GOOD. The building its self and parking is horrible.

Overnight stay to attend a theatre visit. Check in was straight forward and simple. Rooms ready on our arrival. Both rooms clean and tidy. Breakfast excellent, one of our family vegan and still well catered for.
