Halifax Hall

It was a wonderful stay. The room was comfortable and clean, the staff were super helpful and friendly and the food was delicious. I indulged in room service and we had the breakfast as well. Will definitely be staying again and have recommended to family who are visiting Sheffield in the coming months.

Our visit in January was sadly for a family funeral. We wanted a hotel near the church, avoiding the centre of Sheffield. This former university hall of residence turned out to be an excellent choice. Set in pleasant grounds, the hotel is quiet and comfortable and run by fantastically helpful staff, on hand at all times of the day and night. Our room was very clean and comfortable, as were the public areas. The food was first class, with dinner and supper dishes served in the dining room or bar. A particularly nice touch is the availability of coffee machines (tea also provided) in all the guest room corridors, and fresh fruit and home made cookies.

Stayed in a suite with our 2 children on a B&B deal when visiting friends.
