Brockley Hall Hotel

It was quite expensive for a very small family room, with no bath. It was right on the ground floor next to the car park and people were constantly walking past right next to our window, a couple of metres from our bed, which was quite noisy. The bathroom was small, with an unusable towel rail on the wall behind the shower, so there was nowhere to put any towels. My partner had a disappointing and again expensive steak which was overcooked and of poor quality. The breakfast was great but the two poor staff seemed run off their feet and it was all a bit disjointed, taking 40 minutes for our food to arrive.

We had two rooms for a two night family visit and could not find a fault. The breakfasts and evening meals were excellent and nothing was too much trouble for the cheerful, hard working staff. We have stayed here before and shall return soon.
