Lovely,welcoming family hotel ,spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable bed and bedding . Very tasty breakfast in beautiful dining room . Will definitely be returning.

Beautiful and clean, family run hotel. Very helpful and polite staff. The most comfy beds and the room was serviced on the 2nd day of our 2 night stay, which we found fantastic. The location is perfect for walking into Harrogate, just 10 mins. The whole area is delightful.

I’ve stayed most places in Harrogate, all my family live in Harrogate & I don’t like to put upon them and frankly I’d rather do my own thing and come/go as I please!! so I’ve stayed many places in the past year, the Hilton, Cedar court, George, Old Swan, White Hart, West Park, Grafton, Crown Plaza (conference centre) Studley .. I’m telling you because it’s important as I always dismissed smaller places.. last minute I booked this not expecting much and I was so happy that I almost want to keep it to myself as the best kept secret! It is an absolute gem, the room was spotless and I’m so fussy! The bathroom was immaculate and they had lovely shampoo, body wash, soap (the little touches you get in 5 star places) the towels were big, bright white and super fluffy.. I hate off white harder towels that have been mass washed! My bed for a single room was a double bed, beautifully decorated. Again, biscuits, an assortment of teas and coffees.. plenty of room and it was bright, airy and smelt lovely - not fusty or old like some of the other places I’ve mentioned! For those not familiar with the area, it’s 5 min walk to the town, it’s free parking and lots of it. Breakfast in the morning - the menu was so much better than any of the hotels I’ve mentioned, it was beautifully cooked, the poached eggs were perfect and you know when it’s free range, everything was quick, hot and I left very happy. Book here you won’t be disappointed & better than ALL the ones I’ve been to before. 5⭐️

Excellent 'small feel' hotel, run by David and his family to give an enjoyable stay often missing from the larger inpersonal hotels. See you next year for the Sulphurites / Dons rematch.
