Holiday Inn Haydock M6 Jct23, an IHG Hotel

Fab, family and dog friendly hotel. Staff were all very nice, friendly and helpful. Food was good. Welcome water /juice available on arrival was a nice touch. Reception /bar/restaurant clearly had a makeover. Room a little dated and noted outside seating area could do with a power wash and a little tlc. No time to use the pool. Would definitely stay again.

When we visit the area, this is to visit our family. Normally when we stay, we have stayed at the other hotel nearby (which has now started charging for swimming!) so, we decided to finally try the holiday inn, as it has always been a similar price. Well, we are now officially moving to the Holiday Inn. My daughter got the option of a free drink or ice cream during her stay (she chose ice cream of course!) and even though there was a wedding on, it was well organised and there were no issues during our stay. The room was lovely and clean, we were shocked that air condition came with our standard room which is something that you have to pay extra for at the other hotel down the road! The swimming pool was lovely and clean, a little tired and needs a few tiles replacing, but we enjoyed our swim in the morning. Staff were lovely and friendly and we are looking forward to our next stay!

Ok so you know what you get with Holiday Inn. However levels of service & cleanliness vary across the country. We spent 2 nights here and found the team very helpful, friendly and nothing g was too much trouble. On top of that the place was clean, tidy with good food and amenities. Money has obviously been spent keeping the place in a good condition which is reassuring. The family enjoyed the pool and being able to use it throughout the day

Staff were polite. The cleaning staff did a great job. Hot breakfast buffet options were basic but is what is expected. We stayed here to visit family nearby so it was perfect for us.

Always supper friendly and helpful staff on reception from book-in to checkout, leisure centre and restaurant. Very family friendly.

I stay here regularly to see family and it's a great hotel. The staff are really helpful and friendly, the rooms are in good condition and very clean, and the bedroom heating makes it very warm during the cold weather in January. The bar and lobby area is nice with comfy sofas and stays open for residents after hours. Lots of parking available - if you come by car there is an ASDA petrol station nearby that does fuel far cheaper than at the motorway services.

Stayed here a few times and returned again for a quick break again. Staff were on top Form and really looked after us again. Really treated the kids well. Room was clean and tidy as per usual. Spent the weekend in the pool just relaxing. Will be coming back. Great staff and hotel.

As it was a short stay didn’t get time to enjoy all the was on offer eg spa swimming pool. But the kids found it good and we would always recommend this place.

We have never been made to feel as welcome as a family of 4 as we did at the Holiday Inn Haydock. The staff were friendly and the whole hotel is geared up to welcome and support families with young children. We enjoyed a delightful evening meal with a free G&T (complementary for all guests), had a great nights sleep and an amazing breakfast with many choices. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and would happily stay again.
