Bedford Lodge Hotel & Spa

Lovely adult (i.e. not overrun with children) hotel with good view from room of the racing yard next door. Easy walk into town, didn't use restaurant as prefered to try the mexican in town; Breakfast excellent and included. Everything clean and great service. Friendly bar staff with two ales on as well as the usual selection of hotel stock.

I had an absolutely delightful stay at this hotel with my young ones! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The family-friendly amenities were a hit with my kids, and they especially loved the pool and the play area. Our room was spacious and well-appointed, with thoughtful touches like childproofing and a selection of kids' TV channels. The on-site restaurant had a fantastic children's menu, which made dining a breeze. What truly set this hotel apart was the warm and accommodating staff. They provided us with recommendations for family-friendly activities in the area and even helped arrange a babysitter when we wanted some adult time. Overall, our stay was memorable and stress-free. We left with smiles on our faces, grateful for the wonderful memories we made at this hotel. We can't wait to return for another family getaway!

This was our first stay at the Bedford Spa Hotel. From the moment we reported to Reception we were treated by friendly, courteous and helpful staff. Every member of staff that we came into contact with during our three night stay were warm and friendly and helpful. Our room was spotlessly clean with high quality toiletries and refreshments that included fresh milk and bottled water in the fridge. Breakfast is a combination of continental selection buffet and silver service hot menu cooked to order. There is nothing that I found fault with and I would highly recommend it to family and friends.
