The staff and service were top notch. The hotel is perfectly situated, close to shopping, restaurants, city center, etc. The junior suite was nice, however having to walk the final flight of stairs was off-putting and inconvenient, especially considering the cost of the suite. Also, the area around the property was loud, due to numerous construction efforts in close proximity. I would definitely stay here again and recommend the property to others, just as it was recommended to me.

We came to celebrate our grandsons 16th and we were treated to a bottle of champagne and a bowl of fruit in the room as well as the Nespresso coffee machine, bottled water and a selection of teas, coffees and biscuits. The room was a family room with a big king size bed and a double sofa bed. The bathroom was wonderful; modern, clean, double walk in shower, free standing bath, sink and toilet. White stuff shower products. The staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. Concierge to park your car, carry cases etc. They all made you feel welcome and relaxed. The buffet breakfast was wonderful; a large choice and variety of cold meats, cheeses, cereals, fruit, yoghurt, beautifully cooked food and pastries/ croissants- all beautifully displayed.

The hotel room was like in the pictures. Although with the sofa bed out felt cramped. It would have been nice to be acknowledged by the staff after we checked in. We came in and out the hotel 6 times each day and not once we're myself or my extremely well behaved children acknowledged yet every other adult was. The concierge staff would catch my eye then look away. It was rude. Especially the famous Ahmed person that other people reviewed on. It did not feel like a 4 star or 4.5 star hotel and we have stayed at the dilly and the Langham both different price points but the service is better and my children were acknowledged. The breakfast staff however were very friendly to my children each morning.

Fantastic stay, great service and great value for such a central location. I was on crutches due to an injury and the hotel upgraded me to a room with a walk in shower which was really appreciated. Breakfast was very good as well and couldn’t fault our stay from start to finish. Will now use The Cavendish as our go to hotel for London and will return with family in summer.

The hotel was beautiful , clean and very well presented , we had a family room which was well furnished and had everything we needed, the windows could have done with a clean as we had a view but couldn’t see it very well sues to grime on the outside of the glass , but I do appreciate 7 floors up window cleaning may not be possible ! We chose to not indulge in the hotels own breakfast as at £29 per person it was a bit much . How ever I feel the hotel on the whole was in an excellent position for exploring and was immaculate! I will definitely stay there again .

I had viewed the previous feedback before booking and was a bit sceptical, but location was key and I thought booking a suite would give us a good experience, but no it did not! Airport transportation was booked, but I was left waiting for almost an hour with two small children. I arrived at the hotel late at night just to find out that my room was not ready, having to wait almost two hours before we could go to sleep, having to change room in the process. No excuses could make up for this experience. The Breakfast was poor as well as mentioned previously by other guests. poor. Also the lift only goes to the 14th floor, you have to walk the stairs to the 15th floor without air conditioning. The view from the 15th floor is the only thing this hotel has to offer.
