Loved the location of this property. I had a small child & we were in Hyde Park/Kensington Gardens every day. It’s also well connected by tube & buses to everywhere you want to go in Central London. Queensway has a myriad of places to eat & is a short walk away. The hotel is older but kept clean so good value for London. The cleaning lady on level 2 was especially nice to us every day.

The location of this hotel is great to getting around London. Sadly, the walls are just too thin and our room 138 was right next to a family suite. I had to make multiple calls to the front desk for help to quiet down the neighbors. They were apologetic and really tried to help us enjoy our stay.

The hotel and rooms were excellent and in a great part of London. Near Kensington and Notting hill for Saturday portobello market. The rooms were very clean and the hotel was also very clean and inviting. The front desk staff was excellent! The restaurant had great food, although limited offerings, but I personally would rather have a small list of great food. The waiters were very good and friendly. The only person that needed better customer service skills was the bar lady with the Scandinavian accent, who was rude to several guests when the restaurant seating was at capacity. The hotel is under some renovation on the exterior but it did not impact my stay. Actually all of London seems to be under renovation now, LOL. This was my second trip to London, first pre Covid and now post Covid and what a difference. I stayed in the same area so it was noticeable. All in all great stay for my family would stay there again!

We enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and very spacious for our family of 3. It was good walking distance to Hyde park, Kensington palace, 20 minutes to the museum area, walk to paddington and very close to hop on hop off stop and the regular bus line. The only thing we didn’t like was we were on the first floor so you take the elevator up then we had to carry our luggage up 6 stairs, down a carpeted hall way then down 6 stairs. Also the fridge didn’t work and the hotel could not supply us with ice to cool our drinks.

Basic bed and bathroom hotel. Our family of 5 rented 2 rooms, both contained one double and a twin bed. Very close to Hyde park and tube stations on north west side of park. Old building, no amenities beyond fresh towels and garbage removal each day. Breakfast was an additional fee, substantial English buffet but expensive and with a lack of service. Old mattresses in both of our rooms, refrigerator was included in 1 room, not cold enough to store anything in. No hairdryers or bathroom fans. Room 414 bathtub did not drain properly -standing in ankle deep water to shower, room 415 overhead shower only worked minimally and old window could be cracked open for fresh air after several attempts, other window painted shut. Adequate for sleep and changing in a city where you spend all your waking hours out and about.

The hotel itself is nice, but getting to our room was challengin: there were several steps up after we got out of the elevator, then down a long hall, and then down several more steps to get to our room, while schlepping all our luggage. The room itself was also very tiny; we had a family room with a double and a single bed, and there was hardly room for our luggage! The price and the location were excellent, though.
