Kip Hotel

We were impressed by the size of the room to accommodate the family, spacious and very comfortable room. We only missed the air conditioning, what's more, I highly recommend the Kip Hotel, easy access to all of London, lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Friendly and respectful hotel staff service.

Clean & spacious. Perfect for a brief overnight stay with the family. Very basic but great value for money.

This property is conveniently located next to a overground station. The service however is poor. The staff does not care about customers. When we requested extra blankets after checking in the family room, they just told us they are not available because all staff was gone after 3pm and we need to let them know we request blankets before 3pm. Excuse me???

This property was very convenient for Hackney Central station and we've stayed in it before when we were visiting family a few years ago. On our first day we were put in a room with a faulty air conditioning unit which wouldn't switch off and blinked a bright blue light all night long keeping us awake. Reception staff were very lovely the next day and were able to move us to another room for our second night but unfortunately we couldn't get the heating to work in this room and we were cold all night! We won't stay in Kip Hotel if we come back to Hackney again. Shame.

My family and I had the Family Room and was roomy enough for the four of us. Room was clean. Staff was excellent and friendly. Hotel was so close to the Hackney Central train station. Overall pleasant stay!

Nice, clean property woth a large room (2xadults, 2xkids). Supermarkets and cafes less than 1 minite walk away. Can't get any closer to the train station which was wonderful. Requested a kettle on check-in as not as standard. My only suggestion would be if someone rings the pager to not instantly pick up and hang up. We weren't the only ones there and we were all struggling with the door (have to pull quite hard because it sticks. Easy once you know how!) Numerous attempts to dial all resulted in hanging up. We finally got a response saying "the door is open" and hung up before we could speak. Overall a nice property and recommend.

Kip is easy to find, conveniently placed, baby friendly, nice and clean. We especially appreciated fully equipped kitchen. Only down side is increased level of noise from nearby overground station.

Some room has thermostat and some has no thermostat or AC. We were here at peak of summer and it can get hot and stuffy. The window only crack opened about 3 inches for fresh cool air. Nice comfy mattresses. Clean room. They have family or group options for 6 bunk beds or 2 bunk bed and a queen.
