Nice building and in a quiet yet convenient area. Check-in was smooth and staff very helpful throughout. Breakfast was ok, would have appreciated more hot veggie options such as mushrooms and the hash browns were rock hard and inedible. I slept in a sofa bed with dangerous sharp edges and cut my leg; wouldn't recover for kids.

I paid 200 pound for a whole families to stay in their family room. It was tiny dirty. The beds was terrible. The food was terrible. The staff was terrible. Absolutely everything about it. I will not be staying here again.

Very well located, good value and comfortable stay. Catered well for children - double sofa beds and a waffle maker at breakfast.

Great location and fantastic view from our room. Check in was quick and easy. The included buffet breakfast had everything you needed although it was a bit chaotic at a busy time... we ended up seated in the bar on stools that were very difficult to get on and off! Lifts were also hard to get at breakfast/check out time, and when you've gone down to the car park you don't have access to the stairwell so have no option but to wait for the lift. The room was comfortable and clean but very tight with the sofa bed, and the design of the sofa bed meant it was surrounded by metal around the mattress, some of it very angular, and there was also a metal tab that stuck out on one corner, which kept hitting us in the knee every time we had to squeeze past it. Manageable for a one night stay but a family room needs to be bigger for any longer, especially when it was billed as superior.

Beds are too hard and stiff. We all had bad backs. Rooms too warm - climate control didn’t resolve it. Room too small for a family of four. All in all quite disappointing but good location.

The hotel was lovely and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great with so many different options. The room was lovely and clean. My only negative i would give was the sofa bed wasn't very comfortable for my 2 children and you had to be careful getting in and out of it as there was a lot of metal around the sofabed The location was perfect and close to everything.

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel on Expedia. I read the reviews, I hope you do also, so are spared this experience . I have stayed at nicer and friendlier, cheaper hostels. The staff was apathetic to the fact the air conditioning was broken in high summer. My complaint fell on deft ears, even though I pleaded with them I had a child just back from the ER. They said they would send someone- to repair it- which never happened. No one picked up ever at reception- ever. The elevator was filthy dirty. And the general attitude was despondent.

We were excited about checking in to this hotel after a dreadful train journey from Edinburgh then having to change trains and been charged more money even though had our tickets .The lady on the desk told us they were still serving food so we checked in after 7.30pm but when we came back down she told us the food was finished been served even though it stated on the desk 9.30pm. I'm actually disgusted as both my kiddies and I had nothing to eat since 12oclock and they were tired..I don't know if there's any kind of form for a compensation claim as it's put me right off and I'd heard good reports about the Hampton...
