DoubleTree by Hilton Lincoln

Great location, the design of the hotel means you won’t get a river view without paying the big bucks. We had a family room which was a good size. The bed was massive with good pillows. We found the mattress too firm. Our 14 year old son (man size) has become used to being offered an inadequate pull out bed with paper thin mattress. This is common wherever we stay unfortunately for kids. The room and bathroom were very clean with a good quality shower. It had a broken fixture on the wall. But helpful staff when we asked for a fan. The room temperature was controlled in the room but we like a fan. The room was also very quiet. The breakfast was a good buffet with fresh fruit and pastries aswell as a cooked selection. Nice view from the 5th floor restaurant. Overall a pleasant stay.

Our stay was very uncomfortable and not a good experience. Our room was very small and not a full size suite as it was an adjoining room. We could hear the family staying Next to us that were very loud. The room bathroom was very dated and no access to a bath. The staff were rude and customer service was not to the standard of a Hilton hotel. The bed was very uncomfortable and air conditioning was not working.
