Holiday Inn Huntingdon - Racecourse, an IHG Hotel

Stayed here for 2 nights, travelled down for a family wedding, a large number of the wedding party all stayed here. Nice hotel, was very clean, our room was nice, booked a room with a view of the racecourse so had a little balcony. All the staff were very friendly. My only gripe would be i think the food in restaurant is a little over priced for what it is. Breakfast selection is good and all seemed fresh.

This was a family stop-over and we loved the hotel. Kids could eat free with adult meals which is brill and both the evening food and morning breakfast was fantastic. Top marks to the chef. Staff were really friendly and accommodating. Lots of space indoor and out, including a great patio area when it’s sunny. Felt very relaxed staying here. Also, If You like car boot sales there is also a big one on the door step too! No idea what it’s like on race day (literally next to the track) but I can’t imagine finding a hotel any closer!

Excellent hotel for short stays, we were visiting family, friendly and helpful staff. Rooms clean, spacious and comfortable. Tasty and generous portions food options, catering to all tastes. Value for money.

Lovely hotel, we had a view of the race course with the little lake in the middle and the sun setting over it which was lovely. The room was clean, double bed was comfy, the sofa bed not so but the kids had that and they will sleep on practically anything so not a huge problem. Wouldn't be suitable for adults. Free car park, no need to give your details in. Breakfast was great, totally worth it! Needed a safety pin for my dress and they had a little spare sewing kit. The floor at the end of our bed was very creaky but not a huge problem. In general very quiet and would definitely stay again if we were in the area

The Hotel was easy to get to just off the A1, free parking. We were staying for a family event in Huntingdon so we all met up. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was good. The hotel was spotless.

My stay was ok but the the in rooms for disabled facilities and sofa bed for kids was poor service was poor dirty towels didn't get replaced there was a lot of flies around the food arear which makes it uncomfortable eating Our food

We chose to stay here as it was just out of town and quiet (no horse racing), plus easy to get to and park. We weren't expecting it to be so good! My husband said it was the cleanest hotel he's ever stayed at...and he's been to a lot of hotels! He loved the breakfast...fresh cooked, and service with a smile. The only negative was the coffee, which was perfectly fine but we are coffee afficianados and it wasn't to our taste. The room was lovely, our walk in shower had plenty of water pressure, there was nothing about our stay we could find any fault with and we will be staying here again when we visit family in the area!
