Leonardo Hotel and Conference Venue Hinckley Island - formerly Jurys Inn

We really enjoyed our two night stay at Leonardo - receptionists were lovely and welcoming - our room was spacious and clean - breakfast was well priced and really nice including lots of options for the children. We went swimming in the pool one of the days- really easy to book and was a lovely pool which was not too busy likely because they stagger bookings to avoid this. We would definitely stay again

Our room wasn’t suitable as we had a noisy family in the room above , I spoke to Abby the supervisor, Abby she was really understanding and changed us to another room and even upgraded us to a bigger room for our inconvenience.

Always a wonderful stay and wonderful service from the team at Hinckley Island hotel. Emma is always takes care of the family and any requests. So pleased to have found a home away from home when you’re taken care of. We usually spontaneously book Hinckley island for a quick get away and to use their facilities. The ladies at the front desk also were very friendly and helpful. Cat had arranged for some complimentary vouchers to be used. I had a lovely message left on the mirror and a lovely hand written postcard from Emma and the team when I entered my room. Thank you!

I stayed at the Leonardo hotel on the 5th April and after getting a friendly service by the staff and Emma at reception I came back to stay for a full weekend with my family. We booked 2 twin superior rooms and managed to get both rooms side by side. Once again I was met by Emma at reception and she recognised both myself and my daughter who had stayed there just days before. Emma is a real asset to the hotel for the way she will look after you from the moment you check in. All the staff were friendly. It was my daughter’s birthday the day after we were leaving and once I had told Sofia at checkout, she arranged for a goodie bag with sweets and a small Leonardo hotel teddy to go away with. Thank you for your hospitality.

Staff were wonderful; friendly, welcoming and helpful. Hotel was very comfortable and clean. Very good facilities. We travelled with young children and I noticed there were several families at the hotel. One thing I must mention is that the children’s menu was awful, the dishes are named after the main menu but are very cheap alternatives which are not worth the money and my children refused to eat. I would suggest sharing from the main menu and avoiding this. Staff were fantastic with this feedback however. Also it would be nice if there was a safe outside/inside space for children to burn off some energy after a long journey without interrupting other guests. An enclosed play area for example.

Good service on booking as required a joining room due to having to book two rooms now as a family as a five. This was sorted quickly and easily. Unfortunately when we arrived the rooms weren’t ready but this was handled well by the reception staff and complimentary drinks were offered while we waited which helped. Rooms were great. Warm and clean. Leisure facilities bit of a pain with booking and time restrictions for children especially when there is a class on so can’t use when you would like but then only have 45 min window unless you get up and miss breakfast. Women’s change room is far too cold, always is. Really need to do something about that. Children can’t get dressed in there and even some of the aqua ladies were complaining!! Tried to book breakfast in the evening but night staff very unhelpful and directed us wrongly, fortunately in the morning the staff were effective and helpful and got us in. One of the best trips we’ve had here.

The big plus is the availability of pool which the kids enjoyed. Hotel WiFi signal strength was very poor.

Stayed with wife and infant daughter. Breakfast was great, with lots of Veg and Vegan choices. Hotel facilities are not very clean. Hotel can do with upgrades of their facilities and more cleaning staff. Also, no AC in majority of the rooms in this apparently 4-star hotel. Majority of the staff were helpful. Apart from a lady at a coffee lounge.
