Stayed at GreyFriars for our Anniversary as it was conveniently located to the restaurant we were visiting. We couldn’t fault the hotel or the service we received. Upon checking in the lovely lady in reception told us that we had been upgraded to a junior suite. The room was beautifully furnished and elegant with plenty of space. Little extras, such as Nespresso machine and complementary coffee pods as well as mini fridge with drinks was a pleasant addition. The only slight improvement would be better lighting due to the windows being small for the size of the room. This would have made getting ready easier. Breakfast was faultless and the service was excellent. The staff were friendly and polite which made our stay all the better. We will definitely be back.

Lovely hotel. We had the courtyard junior suite which was just a s described. Spacious with a lovely bathroom and courtyard. Comfortable bed and efficient air conditioning. We liked the free mini bar items it made it pleasnt to have soft drinks and a beer ready and chilled. Nespresso machine worked well. Only thing to improve would be the size of the television which was small for the size of room and distance from the bed if that's where you wanted to view from. Great staff all friendly, professional and helpful. Breakfast was very good, all served and a good choice. The breakfast staff were excellent and super efficient. We particularly liked the fact staff were all well groomed and well presented. A very enjoybale stay and would have no hesitation in returning or indeed recommending the hotel.

We had a junior suite with terrace. The room was great, beautiful bed but no drawer space so we had to live out of suitcases for the whole long weekend. The furniture was beautiful but surely in a bedroom you need some useful drawer space? The terrance was spacious but the plants in tubs were dead and I had to collect cushions for the chairs from the bar and wipe down the table and chairs myself.
