We use the hotel as a half way stop from the North West to Cornwall every year. It has nice, new co-joined rooms for us and the kids, a decent breakfast and we don't have to drive far out of the way to get there. We don't stay long and it is always a very pleasant stay. It's excellent for the price.

On arrival the hotel looked nice, with a clean mordern look lobby and bar area, but we were soon hit with an £18 parking charge to use the car park, which we knew nothing about and is not in the hotel description. When we got to our room, it was a big surprise as it was like a prison cell from a movie. The walls were apparently polished concrete with no decoration or paint at all. They looked and were very cold and the furniture also looked like prison issue cheap black metal frame with a childs desk stool as bedside tables. Only one light worked and that was in the bathroom and the window would not open. It was pretty much a prison experience when we were in our room, and not nice. After paying for £18 for parking, we popped out to pick up some things and came back to no parking spaces left and cars dumped everywhere and up the road. However the bar had beer and thats why I've given and sort of star rating

This is the perfect place if you want somewhere quite central for Weston, Burnham, Berrow and Glasto etc. Its in the middle of an industrial estate so it won't win any prizes for the beauty of its location but its completely ace for gadding about. Staff are friendly and check in, check out seamless. The room we had, which was a family with two single beds, was clean and spacious and we couldnt have asked for more. Only downside was that the wifi was sketchy....but its free so, whatever!

We have stayed here on numerous occasions with no problems but unfortunately this time we were given a top floor room opposite the lifts. Noise from people using the lifts most of the night, drunks shouting and swearing, children running up and down the hallway, dogs barking. People banging on walls until 3am. Very little sleep and not an enjoyable stay. To cap in all I could hardly get into my car due to a very large van parked in a car parking space next to me.

The hotel reception, bar and restaurant looked impressive. In contrast, our room was extremely basic and depressing. The good points are that the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower was efficient. The bad points are the decor and the lack of basic comforts. We had no complimentary water or glasses, one tea bag each was provided, no heated towel rail in the bathroom and the wardrobe consisted of an open hanging space and open shelving. The staff at this hotel were very friendly and helpful. When we returned from our family event it was very late but there was no problem when we asked for water and replacement teabags.

My partner and I booked a long awaited weekend away while our special needs child was in respite care for the first time ever! Got off to a great start, hotel reception staff were wonderful. Paid £18 for 2 days parking, only to find there was no room to park. We would have stayed on-site, but although the website for the on-site restaurant said we could book a table up until 10pm, when we arrived downstairs at 9.35, we were told kitchen was closed, so had to drive somewhere to get food. When we returned, absolutely no spaces, even though the sign on the road said the hotel itself had 59 rooms available! If 59 rooms were suddenly booked, where on earth would the cars park??? Cups and teaspoons in room were dirty and hardly any tea, coffee and sugar provided. Shower wouldn’t drain, so couldn’t even wash ourselves properly! Although a cocktail menu is advertised in the bar, all of the cocktails we chose had ingredients missing as unavailable. It’s a bit much to pay £9 for a cocktail, if you haven’t got all the ingredients. One of the reasons we booked this hotel, was because we were led to believe everything was available onsite, but sadly this was not the case. All together a very disappointing stay and even more disappointing as this was a rare opportunity for us to have a break.

The hotel was ideal for an overnight stay. The rooms were very comfortable. Perhaps needed a dust and there was an unwashed mug and teaspoon, but everything else was great. The breakfast was fantastic and the staff were all very helpful and friendly, especially Nikki who was lovely and friendly with our children.
