Overall very good. The front desk staff were helpful and friendly. We had a family room for 4 which was clean and well appointed. The main bed was very comfy. The sofa bad was a lot smaller and my two teenagers found it a bit cramped. Our little dog was made welcome and loved her complimentary ball and treats. Incidentally, our room didn't feel 'doggy' at all, to my relief. The complimentary breakfast was very filling with a good choice.
The hotel is and easy walk into the town centre.
A couple of criticisms: our king bed had a duvet that was too small so I spent a lot of the night try to cover myself better. As already mentioned, the sofa bed was cramped and would not work for two adults.
Overall these points did not marr our stay and I would happily stay there again.

Restaurant across the road was blasting music until after 11pm on the Saturday night we stayed. Not super helpful for the sleep of the baby or two exhausted parents.

It was a small room for a family of 4 but it was quiet, clean and the complimentary breakfast was very good. I would recommended.

The hotel was ok, the complimentary breakfast was basic but a nice free option. However we won’t be staying here again or advising any friends or family stay here. We have a Disabled blue badge but the parking in the hotel car park charges are disgraceful. £5 for the first four hours, any 24 hours period £15 and ANY time over 24hours was automatically charged at an additional £15 with no concessions for blue badge holders, I don’t mind paying for parking but these prices are horrendous, you also have to pay EVERYTIME you leave the car park so you can’t even pop out for lunch after arriving. So if you are only there for 50 minutes it will cost you £5 and when you return it will cost you another £5 minimum even if you leave within 4 hours. The free breakfast does not outweigh the shocking cost of parking at this hotel

The hotel is clearly not designed for families. Our family of four entered one of the smallest hotel rooms I have experienced in many years. We could barely navigate past the bed and sofa bed, it was so cramped. I would never stay there again, i felt very embarrassed taking my family to a room so tiny! I'll book Premier Inn next time & get a room 50% larger with room to breathe!

Good location, but the room smelled of sewage, the air conditioning didn’t work, the sofa bed was too small for my two young children to sleep comfortably, the main bed was uncomfortable, the quality of the breakfast was poor and the cost of the car park was extortionate.

The room was not really big enough for a family of four in comparison to a Premier Inn room.
The shower and shower head needed replacing, although it did work ok for us. The room was looking a little tired and I’d always held HI Express to a higher standard to Premier Inn but this stay has changed my mind

This property is well located.
Only call out would be that the rooms really can’t accommodate more than 3 people. They say that the pull out sleeps 2 but it really can only accommodate 1 child.

Property as described. Arrived around 7.30pm car park almost full we were lucky to get the last space.
Good breakfast choice for a simple and quick breakfast and we had 2 children with us.
Good nights sleep not woken by anything as can be the case when staying in hotel - other guests etc.
checking in and out easy and efficient and staff happy to provide extra duvet and pillow when asked.

We stayed 2 nights. The staff was very nice and helpful. Our room was quite small for a family of 4. It wasn't very clean. The tolet fush came off, the toilet paper holder fell of the wall. To flush the toilet either we had to press the leaver very firmly or do few energetic pumps to make it work. The beds weren't comfortable. We didn't have enough towels for us all. We had breakfasts included with our stay, the choice was good however full english brekfast was horrible, the sausages were awful and the eggs were soggy-served only sausages, beans, scrambled egg and bacon.
On our first night we arrived late and we decided to eat in the hotel.. what a waste of money. My husband had fish and chips.. this meal was crying because it was so sorry for itself- it wasn't proper britishfish and chips, it was more like polish style fish. My younger child had chicken nuggets and chips.. the nuggets tasted horrible, the older one had burger which wasnt good as well. On our last morning we decided not to have breakfast and leave as soon we could.
