We were extremely impressed with the breakfast ordered. The pool was a little cold but very nice. We would definitely choose to stay here again and have recommended to friends and family.

We were upgraded to a family room . The beds were excellant and it was very comfortable. The air flow worked well ( could not get fresh air though) the spa was a real treat - very well equipped and clean) Tony the manager was quick to sort out any issues during our stay and did so with a smile. Breakfast on the whole was very good but the coffee needs to be upgraded to a better standard . On the whole a cery pleasant stay.

The hotel was lovely in a great location and in great condition. We had a family room for four adults and the room was very spacious.

A very pleasant hotel and ideally located for a short visit to Bath. The staff at reception were always pleasant and helpful and on ar informed us that we had been upgraded to a family room, this was an unexpected gesture and it gave us a bit more space. The bed was extremely comfortable. The room was quiet despite overlooking the road, had excellent blackout curtains. Room spotless and nicely decorated, the tea/coffee facilities were well stocked and although there was pots of UHT milk you could request fresh milk, we collected it from the lobby bar when we returned in the evenings and took it up to the room and there was a decent sized fridge to keep it in. We did visit the swimming pool/steam room/sauna. You were required to book a slot (ensuring not overcrowded). Towels were provided and although they weren't the same quality as the rooms they were clean, fresh and adequate for drying yourself after a swim. Shampoo and body wash were also available. The pool area was nice, with plenty loungers and seats. I did notice that the smoke detectors on the ceiling were looking a bit grubby but this did not affect me happily using the pool area. The sauna was tiled and initially I thought the grout was dirty however on closer inspection it actually was that there was grout missing on the seating area and I was happy to use this facility then. All in all a very pleasant stay and I would visit again. Just a couple of minor details that perhaps could be addressed by maintenance.

Stayed During my wedding anniversary. This is an excellent hotel with all facilities that you expect a 5star hotel to have. Very clean rooms and peaceful so your sleep wont get disturbed.Hotel manager was very kind enough to provide us with complimentary chocolates and drinks seeing as it was our anniversary. The Rooms have excellent facilities and the beds are extremely comfy. I would recommend all couples and families to stay at the Apex Bath. All the staff are very professional and polite. I have worked over 20years in the aviation business and travelled all across the globe. This is what a hotel should be like

After reading a few less than complementary reviews I was apprehensive about our booking however our experience couldn’t have been more opposite. The cleanliness of the room was exceptional and the standard of the fixtures and fittings was very luxurious. We arrived and were checked in within minutes. Our room was upgraded from a standard to a family room which was great. The room was fantastic, very large and midden with the comfiest mattress. Small fridge in the room and tea and coffee making facilities. Complimentary bottle of water and shampoo; conditioner, body wash etc provided complimentary.

Very nice clean comfortable modern hotel. Staff very pleasant and helpful. We were upgraded to a family room which was very large and both a large walk in shower and a bath. A small maintenance issue was dealt with promptly.

The Spa was full of kids playing in the pool, very different from the relaxing expectations from the website pictures.

The pool and steam room/sauna is a really nice feature of this hotel although it is a busy space on weekends with families using the pool/spa space. It was more enjoyable on weekdays. The location of this hotel is perfect. There are excellent bar/restaurants nearby and everything in Bath is a short talk from the hotel including all tourist attractions and the train/bus station. Stay here!

First time to Bath, so had no idea of where hotel would be in relation to places of interests. Hotel was so close and everything withn 10/15 mins walking distance. So close to so much. Lots of eateries, cafes, bars, just around the corner. We used Charlotte St long stay car park as the one which is closest had a 4 hour max stay. Hotel itself - we arrived early to drop off luggage befire heading out, and at 11am, our room was ready! Worth requesting an earlier check-in,if its available, and unlike many other places, no charge! We had the family room, 2 adults and 2 teens, plenty of space. Lovely and clean, super comfy bedding, fridge with complimentary water, tea coffee maing facility, and a fab bathroom, both a bath and walkin shower, and plenty of toiletries. The spa area was agai very clean, although i did use it at 8am, so cant comment on how it is later in the day. The pool was open from 6am to 10lm, so ample time to book a slot. We didnt have breakfast, only as I felt £60 for this was a little steep. Cocktails were again very nice and theres a little outdoor seating area in front. This hotel was right opp an Odeon cinema, nandos, westherspoons and a number of other bars. I cannot fault this hotel at all. As a family, we all loved it and cant wait to return!!
