Avista Hideaway Phuket Patong - MGallery

First part of our Thailand trip and we are sad to leave. Beautiful grounds and stunning food. Jee and Hong at the kids club were extremely friendly and helpful, giving lots of tips whilst my daughter carried out activities. The hotel was close to freedom beach and the views from the hotel were stunning. Would go back in a heartbeat

Good property, but the bathrooms were dark and i don't think very clean. Smoke from cigarettes can get into the rooms very easily and hard to breathe. Most staff are great, but front reception girl told me to take the stairs and walk to my room with a baby in my arms instead of waiting for a cart

We stayed at the Avista Hideaway for 10 days. And I have to say we had the absolute best time. Everything about our stay was brilliant from the super friendly team like Matt & Hrang, to the delicious food especially at Sizzle Rooftop Restaurant. The room We had room 706 - the pool suite which was incredible. The room was a great size and house keeping were very reliable even for pool cleaning, as sometimes some leaves would fall into the pool. I loved the rain head shower and the fact that there was a safe in the room, the air conditioning was also top notch. The Grounds The hotel is very big and on the side of a hill, so there is a lot of walking involved. But if you’re not in the mood to walk, they have a buggie service that you can call to get picked up which we found handy as our room was quite far down the hill. We only called the buggie when we needed to go to the lobby or car park. The place is a bit or a maze and will take some time to figure out where you are going, it took us about 2 days to fully know our way around. But it’s definitely worth the walk around because the grounds are so beautiful, full of interesting trees and plants plus beautiful lighting at night. We also LOVED the views of the jungle landscape and sea view and the amazing sunsets. There are 3 main pools which are fun to hang out at, our favourite was the hillside pool which is adults only if you need a break from the kids.

Excellent place to relax with family and away from but only 5 minute taxi to town. Staff very friendly and efficient. 7-11 nearby is handy.. Rooms and swimming pools are excellent. Only slight complaint is that breakfast is unvaried if staying for more than a few days.

We love it. The amenities are awesome for kids and adults. The pools are great.

Away from the bustle of Patong but easily accessible by the free shuttle. This is a luxury property with friendly and polite staff who go out of their way to help at any opportunity. Huge rooms, cleaned daily - super comfortable. Only downsides: 1. There is no shop on the premises or nearby so if you want any incidentals its a bit of a trek or a taxi ride. 2. The restaurants are generally excellent but the quality of the food can be inconsistent. But all in all - luxurious accommodation at a modest price and excellent for everyone from small children to the most senior travellers.

If you are looking for the perfect relaxing hotel then look no further. The hotel itself is amazing, three pools, big spacious rooms ( we stayed in the superior room over looking the pool ) pool bars, roof top bars, spa, gym.. The list goes on. But above the hotel there are the staff.. Every single person who works at this hotel is always waiting with a smile, there is nothing that they won't do to ensure you have the most comfortable stay. We traveled with our 9 month old daughter on the trip, the hotel ensured everything we would need for her, we had. She became unwell towards the end of the trip with Bad ears and we had to extend out trip last minute; the hotel was booked out however one mention of this to one of the breakfast staff and by the time we got back to our room our phone was ringing with front desk telling us not to worry about a thing, they have blocked out our room for us to be able stay as long as we needed. That type of gesture happened many times regarding many different things. We feel like we are family here and I am sure every guest feels the same: Special thanks to Calvin who was amazing with our daughter and us also, to Cindy and Rhylie from front desk who were like our guardian angels when we needed something. I can't recommend this hotel enough. We will be back.
