Thavorn Beach Village Resort & Spa Phuket

This resort was so beautiful. I came here with my husband and teenage daughter and we enjoyed our 2 day stay. The attention from the moment you arrive was great, we arrived a bit early, but went to go have lunch at the restaurant and the food was sooo delicious. Our entree plates, appetizers and dessert plates was presentable and delish and it exceeded our expectations. The resort is huge so our room was on hill a bit far to walk in this Thailand heat but they have a cable car and tuk tuk to take you to and from your room to the lobby area. There are so many beautiful places in the resort for beautiful pictures because of the asthetic of it. Pool was clean and we had clean towels daily. If you wanted to walk out the resort theres nothing nearby as everything is a drive down near Patong beach about 7-8 mins away by car. All in all I would be back with my family, but next time we’ll def get a room closer to the pool or beach.

I loved this hotel! Upon check-in, I received fresh juice and clear directions about the hotel’s offerings. Easy check-in, friendly staff, clean rooms, nice balcony with ocean views, excellent breakfast with so many options, easy to get a taxi, helpful excursion desk, and beautiful curated grounds. There are so many photo spots within this hotel. I had an oversized king bed that had cozy pillows and white linens. There was a stand up shower with a separate bathtub. There was also a bathtub on my outdoor patio overlooking the ocean. I didnt want my room cleaned during my stay but the staff kindly delivered bottled water and toiletries to my door while I was away.🙏 There is a cute cable car that can transport you to your room or you may request a ride from the staff. It is about 20 min drive to Patong depending on traffic. Walk to the beach from your room with 5 min. I can’t comment on whether there was any on-site entertainment because spent each of my days in Thailand touring, eating, and shopping. You may exchange money at the front desk. This hotel is great for families, couples, and groups. I would definitely return for another stay. You will not be disappointed.

The resort has everything you need, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It's very big so you can get alot of privacy especially at the pool and beach area. The food is average though. Overall I highly recommend this place for families.

Our family loved how removed this resort was from all the hustle and bustle of Phuket without being so removed you could not travel for adventure when needed. The facilities are well maintained, however, the pier and coral centre are not back and running at this stage. The staff are friendly and approachable and always treating you to a friendly smile and take the time to get to know you and your family.

This hotel was amazing. The garden, pool and landscaping where immaculate and incredibly beautiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was an occasion that I requested an iron and it was outside my room within minutes. Upon arrival we were offered an upgrade to our room which was unexpected and very appreciated. We will definitely visit again and I'm already telling friends and family that it's a must.

We loved our stay at the Thavorn! It was our first time staying there and we were on our honeymoon for 10 days. It was such an amazing experience to feel so relaxed after all the stress of wedding planning. Thavorn is beyond beautiful with every square foot covered in immaculate detail of greenery. We stayed in a beach cottage with a gorgeous view of the ocean. The staff was incredibly kind and friendly and very helpful. We have already recommended it to multiple friend and family and we will definitely be back! Thank you for making our honeymoon so enjoyable!

The resort was fabulous - from the moment we arrived, the staff were so welcoming and willing to accommodate whatever we needed. We are a family of four and had adjoining hillside rooms. Access to our rooms was via the cable car - this was the feature that made the resort stand out from many others - we loved the cable car experience. Our views from the balcony over the resort and the ocean, over to Patong Beach and we could see Big Buddha in the distance - just spectacular views that reminded us every minute about the tropical holiday we were on. Each day we could travel into Patong Beach and back to the resort through the free shuttle, we used the service regularly. We spent a couple of days around the pool at the resort - and loved Sara and Hummer the turtles that made daily appearances. The staff also loved engaging with us and helping us learn lots of phrases in Thai - for that we say Kup-Kuhn-Kar/Kup-Kuhn-Krup - thank you very much. We ate many of our meals at the resort and enjoyed them immensely. The pool itself was amazing - it was so large that you weren't bumping into other holiday makers at every turn.

I stayed with my family at 2 bed room hillside facing. We amazed at beautifully maintained spacious garden and very big pools. And room was enough big for 4 people terrace was also spacious and had great view of Patong bay. It is not far away from Patong beach, but very quiet because the hotel is located at mountain side. When looked at hotel HP, hillside room looked a bit old, but actually, it was nicely cleaned, so we felt it was rather "traditional" than "old". Just walking round the beautiful garden surrounding very large pool, it was perfect experience of a paradise. We imaged very long time effort would be required to make this perfect sterile garden. It will be not possible for newly constructed hotels. Lastly hotel staff perfectly matched this hotel's atmosphere. In a word, it was perfect resort experience for us with quite reasonable price.

Great Hotel, Like living in the Rain forest. Very nice Staff. Regular Shuttle Bus to patong. Very big Pool area. Good is very good. Good for families.
