Movenpick Phuket Bangtao

Quiet location, great for families. We stayed in 2 bedroom accomodation that was really spacious, with view for both sunrise n sunsets. The beds were cosy, and the apartment was tastefully decorated and resourced. Obviously due to low season less staff on the ground, but those who were there, were very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was good. The access to beach very easy.

Room was perfect for large family. Access to shops and restaurants within 5 minute drive. Staff were helpful and we would stay again.

I stayed in the 3 bedroom for two nights here. The room was fantastic with a high-ceiling spacious living room. The living room looks like 1500 square feet facing ocean. The balcony is also great for all the five adults to take a rest while watching a kid swiming in the small pool in the balcony. There is nothing to visit in the vicunity which may make enegetic people feel boresome. But there is a nice town in 5 min drive by taxi if you look for a big supermarket and nice restaurants. The hotel runs a complimentary bus the this town three times a day. This is a good place to take a peaceful and quiet retreat.

Thank you to Michael (the GM) and his service team, our family enjoyed our stay very much. Have to admit that Movenpick is not a Big resort but everything is nice and warm and friendly, though the premises is a bit old and a bit far from center of Laguna. But the size of every apartment would definitely make you happy. Most importantly you always felt that you are being well taken of... regardless you were in the room, around the pool, in the restaurant having meals, one look they would come to you and respond...this is very important to our family. I would recommend this hotel to those family who are looking for quite, comfort vacation and excellent servicing..
