Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok, an IHG Hotel

Residence was perfect for our family of four. Would definitely comeback.

Just returned from 5 nights at the Kimpton in Bangkok. We booked early and splashed out on a two bed apartment for ourselves and teenage son. I say ‘splashed out’ although it cost around £280 per night including a massive and delicious breakfast. The room itself was absolutely amazing. We had two big king bedrooms with en suites and a fully functional kitchen with washing machine and living area. The hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous. The pool and spa are phenomenal and the staff cannot do enough to help make your stay enjoyable. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel and also this category of room for families and also sharers. Both bedrooms were gorgeous and you get an additional living area for less than the cost of two separate rooms. I hope to return.

Our family loved the place. Kid loved the Eater photoshoot area. Kept him busy and happy. And the check-in staff was very helpful going beyond their responsibilities to accommodate our needs.

Highly insta-worthy hotel with an extensive breakfast and a pet/family friendly foyer. Loved the free drinks by the pool from 5-6. Cool. clean set within a lovely garden. About a 15 minute walk to the sky train and Embassy Mall. The service was excellent and they were able to do a late checkout for us which was really appreciated. If you are going to the airport afterwards be aware that the taxi driver charged more than the quoted price so make sure you have a little extra cash on hand for that.
