Friendly staff, excellent breakfast with great options, tea and coffee, hot chocolate. Area is Walkable, shuttle that can be pre requested from train station , or easy walk through cute streets with multiple shops. Kitchen equipped with family needs, spacious bathroom and bedrooms.

All the staff (especially Nico, Danielle and Maria) were very helpful, knowledgable and kind. It's a family owned hotel and the owners continually checked in with the guests. The rooms are clean. We had a lovely view of the Matterhorn from our balcony. The TV is on the smaller side but we didn't even switch it on so we didn't care. We only ate dinner at the hotel once but it was very good. The location is a quick 5-7 minute walk to the main street and a few minutes from the bus route to the ski lifts. They also have a ski room which makes things convenient.

Nice cottage hotel, clean and spacious for family. The only short coming is the location is far off from the Main Street, 15min walking distance. Hotel provided free shuttle car to pick up and drop off to/from zermatt train station. For drop off, you are required to inform in advance to avoid late rushing for your train schedule as sometime the shuttle could have fully booked during peak season.

An amazing hotel.. The staff was outstanding- friendly and courteous- we had four adults and had a family room .. two very comfortable beds in a very nice room .. Breakfast was so good - a big variety of food and very very good ! Highly recommend this hotel !!! So glad we stayed here

The check in was so smooth and Nico gave us good information on how to get around the area. Breakfast is also good and the room (we reserved room for 3 adults) is bery modern and spacious. There were kids that are a bit noisy in the corridor around 10pm but other than that all is well.

Modern, updated rooms, very clean! Owner and his family were super helpful. Breakfast was top notch…would definitely stay here again!

This is an amazing hotel located right near the center of the city where everything is located. You can go right at your door and be at any place on the main strip in a matter of a few minutes walk. You can also get to the lifts in about 10 minutes and we walked back-and-forth each day and it really wasn’t that far. The hotel is very clean. Room service was always very professional and well taken care of the hotel staff are always all very friendly and helpful and making a drink. The best of it could be a hotel is very nice and pretty quaint little area of the town I would say by far the best feature of the hotel is the food that has amazing food and I would definitely recommend getting the house board option if possible Each night we had a four or five course meal each of which were just amazing. Overall this is an amazing and simple little place. That’s great for travelers in couples and even families you’ll enjoy your time here I promise.

My family and I stayed here in October 2022. Our experience could not have been any better. The room and the hotel grab you with an old-world charm and romance. The location is perfect, as it is walking distance to the entirety of Zermatt. The people of Hotel Jagerof were incredibly kind and helpful. I hope to return to Zermatt soon, and will look to stay here as my first option.

This place is such a gem! Wonderful family run hotel. We had a great view of the Matterhorn from our room. The breakfast was super yummy. Very convenient location. Would love to stay here again!
