Swissôtel Kursaal Bern

big room, enough for the family stay with a lot of desk space to store all the thing. I think on of the The best views on the city of Bern. Service and breakfast was great as well.

We visited Bern for 2 days with our 6 month old daughter. We were pleasantly surprised with the provided baby bed and baby amenities (even a little gift for her). That gave a very warm welcome. We booked a Swiss Advantage room and had a very nice, quiet and clean room with view of the old town. The bed was great, staff very helpful and friendly, breakfast buffet wonderful. The hotel is conveniently located just outside the old town and on main public transportation lines. It also has a good restaurant. We had a great stay, would recommend it and would stay here again.

First of all, I arrived at the room, it was extremely small, but the weirdest thing is that the window overlooked the interior of the hotel... so I had no views to the outside, which was EXTREMELY claustrophobic... I asked to change rooms, and I was charge around 30 euros for the upgrade on the category... which is crazy to me, but honestly it was something i had to do.... I was traveling with friends, and they had a baby, it was very hard for them to find a microwave to heat up their bottle at night... Other than that, this is a very standard hotel, and honestly it doesnt reflect the famous swiss hospitality.

Stayed for 4 days with my family. Totally liked hote. Although parking is expensive, but hey this is swiss and everything is expensive. Breakfast was good. Only one request for hotel is to provide enough towels for number of people in room instead of calling. I was with my wife and kid but only 2 towels provided. Just a feedback for hotel provide according to room numbers . Otherwise i will recommend this to family members staying . Hotel is closeby to other attractions and is walking distance to center of bern

My family and I (including extended family) stayed here for a night and booked a few different rooms. The hotel is really comfortable and modern, has nice grounds, and is walkable to Bern. Parking was easy for us, too. The only huge negative to our trip was the front desk staff. The woman who checked me in was sweet, but other than that, all of the staff that I corresponded with at the front desk were snobby and acted very arrogant and put out. I'm not sure why, but it was unpleasant. As mentioned, the hotel itself was great.
