Loved staying in this hotel. Rooms were very pleasant with very comfortable beds. Great bunkbeds for the kids. Easy walk to the tram -about 10 minutes. Good hotel restaurant and also an awesome rooftop restaurant and bar with an option to eat outside. (note rooftop only open on the weekends). Would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend!

The hotel is pretty much brand new, and I really enjoyed staying in a room of new conditions. I had the Standard King Room which was a very comfortable size for one person and would be quite good for 2 people too. However I think it depends on where on the floor your room is, as my friend's room was more compact in a different part of the floor. Location wise, it's only a few minutes walk to a public transport hub, a huge shopping centre and the waterfront where the Opera house is. 20min walk to the city "centre" but about 35min to the Haga area. Breakfast was fantastic, so many options and a large dining room. The overall hotel vibe is very nice, a lot of place to chill and a solid lobby bar / restaurant. My only complaint is that the hotel was not built with sound proofing in mind. I could almost make out my neighbours conversations and heard every laugh. I like the wooden floor boards in the room, it gives a brighter and cleaner room feel, but it means no sound absorption from the room above, I heard every run from a small child presumably. When my neighbours opened their room door, I was convinced they opened mine. Then when it slammed shut (why can't people gently close these heavy doors!), my whole room shook.

We loved our recent stay at the hotel in a superior family room on the 8th floor with windows on two sides. Lying in bed at night watching it get dark after sunset was wonderful. Sadly we missed the first night as our flight was cancelled and we ended up stranded in Frankfurt. Yes the hotel is in the middle of a bit of a building site but there was no noise from it where we were and it’s only a 10 minute walk from Central Station and not much more to Brunnsparken. The breakfast was very good quality and even at the weekend there were no long queues. We all loved the crepes with cream and jam although I took mine with the cinnamon apples…delicious! We didn’t use the bar or cafe but they looked nice. Our family room was very nice apart from there being barely any storage which was a little strange so we mostly kept everything in our cases on the floor. Our superior room had tea and coffee facilities, a fridge and a safe which perhaps standard rooms don’t have so be aware of those things are important to you…they are to us!

The hotel was amazing. Lovely and helpful staff. Very clean. Good breakfast. The only thing I'd say is that the food bar and restaurant are not very kid friendly, food wise. Options are limited as well. I'd stay there again on another trip without the kids. It's very close to town centre but unfortunately, it seems to be a construction site all around so perhaps visited at the wrong time.

This hotel is brand new and very well designed! We had a huge room with good quality beds & bedding. The breakfast was enormous and everything was fresh and delicious. We were very surprised by this hotel in a good way. In the lobby they serve nice pizza's / salads. For the kids they offer a jumping castle and ping pong table (both inside). It is a 5-10min walk to the city center. The rooftop bar is worth a visit. We stayed in a lot of hotels over the past years with kids and this one is definitely in our top 5.

Family room was very small, didn't expect kid's bed to just fold down from wall. No wardrobe, desk, chest or even a chair. Despite staying 5 nights, had to battle to just get the room cleaned and towels refreshed. Often long queues at reception and no means of calling them. Breakfast was good but very limited food menu for dinner and several items ran out. Maybe lots of teething issues, given this is a new hotel.

The hotel is quite new and eco friendly, staff is very friendly, breakfast is delicious, room/bathroom are spot clean. Very much highs on this hotel. There are only two lows: wifi is very slow and there are too many constructions around (not related to the hotel though, more related to the city). I personally like very much Scandic hotels, but for my next visit I would choose another one. This one is extremely big and time from elevator to the room take too much time. I would rather choose a smaller hotel. For bigger groups, families or business trips it might fit perfectly, but for a solo traveler maybe a quieter and smaller hotel would be a better option. :)

We arrived early with a group (6) and had two total "family rooms" as we didn't know if we would need 2 or 3 people staying with us when we booked. We stored luggage, and went out for the day, planning to return around 3pm to checkin. At 3, we were met with an incredibly long line which stretched across the entire lobby to the front door. The line took over an hour to get through. We were staying one night to attend a concert (paying +500usd), so we figured that it'd be busy, but we came to find out there was also a music festival with the hotel being used as a vip area. At check-in, we were told that later we would not be able to enter the hotel via the main door, but would need to go to a back service entrance and have a security escort us in. Further, the roof deck (a big factor in choosing the hotel), would not be fully opened (but could not tell us when it was private and public) due to the event. We finally checked in, got rooms, and left. Upon return, we had to go to a locked back entrance. It took some time for the door to let us in. From there, we were asked by security (after another line wait) our room number, number of guests, and then ushered into a service elevator. We did not have access to a majority of the hotel (including walking through the lobby areas). Back in our rooms, music pulsing through the floors at midnight. We were incredibly disappointed by our stay here. We were treated as second class or lower guests with zero communication or transparency.
