Quality Hotel Friends

The hotel is conveniently located next to the mall. However, when we were there, there was absolutely no parking. There were probably less than 20 parking spots. We had to park at the mall that charges us 500SEK per night. Is it possible to work with the parking mall so that customers from the hotel can get some kind of complimentary or discounted parking. There was a soccer match during our stay. We were not allowed to use the regular walk to the mall, which is right next to us. Security directed all hotel guests to walk on the freeway with no sidewalk. We saw a kid almost hit by a car! I understand what they are trying to do with the soccer fans not using the shortcut, but they should make it available for hotel guests to pass. It was poorly organized. The bedroom and breakfast were good though but not enough for us to come back again.

Location is superb, right next door to the Friends Arena where the Swedish National Team was playing the day (I arrived June 2023); and next door to the Mall of Scandinavia. Really excellent location. Exercise room was decent (perhaps could be bigger given the expansive and sprawling hotel complex that it is). It has kids play area. The lighting system in the room is tied to your card key, which is neat. Breakfast was great, with varieties. The proximity to the mall means that your shopping needs and dining are well take care of. As someone visiting from North America, I was a bit surprised that some of the small things (like body lotion, room chairs) that I am used to in NA hotels were missing. I also forgot to bring an electrical outlet adaptor for my laptop; it would be great if the hotel could have some adaptors (they must expect N Americans!) Otherwise, a very pleasant experience and would likely visit again if I am in the neighbourhood.
