Hotel Gio, BW Signature Collection

Quite close to city center and within walking distance from bus station (3-5 min only). The hotel has a "living room" where families/friends can spend some time before going to sleep, the space had some board games, coffee, tea and comfortable places to hang out. The room was big and beds and linen were comfortable and quite. Breakfast had a lot of variety for every taste.

Me and my wife and toddler and family really enjoyed staying here in this great hotel, the staff were kind and pleasant and helped with every single request I had. The breakfast had good options, although we couldn't eat any of the meats as not halal, there was still plenty of good options for us. Thank you hotel Gio for a great experience, next time i am in Sweden i will surely book this hotel again.

Great hotel for a family stay with 2 kids

Great staff! Excellent breakfast. We loved the interieur. Nice that they have a living room. Perfect with children. Room was not that big but feels cosy. Next to the bus into the city. In walking distance train and tube. And for the shopping lovers, close by the biggest shopping mall!

I would highly recommend this hotel for families staying in Stockholm. The location was great and near public transportation, and we definitely got a lot for the price for one night. The room was clean and spacious for a family of five, with enough towels and hand towels for 6 people in the room already when arrived. The breakfast was really nice for everyone in the family, with both cold and warm options and plenty of great, fresh foods to choose from. I would absolutely choose this hotel again for our next stay in Stockholm!

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay here. We got the room with the bunk beds for the kids and they loved it. Going in and out of town was a quick Uber ride and definitely worth the huge savings staying outside touristy Stockholm can provide. The breakfast was decent, nothing to write home about. The room was rather small but the toilet was large and well lit. Overall this would have been a wonderful experience but for the parking situation. We chose this hotel precisely because we needed parking and the daily rate was reasonable, however upon arrival we learned that there were no more available spaces. If that wasn’t enough the friendly receptionist told us to simply download an app and park by the graveyard just a block away. We did, we paid for 24 hours (96 SEK, a great deal) and parked exactly where she recommended only to wake up to an ENORMOUS parking ticket on our windshield (750 SEK!!!) . Apparently there are 3 hour periods on specific days where the streets are cleaned and parking isn’t allowed. Of course we don’t speak Swedish and we were not familiar with their street signs and such, the parking app gladly accepted payment for the *specifc* section we parked on for the entire period we requested, go figure! But really, hotel services should NOT be directing guests to areas they will incur tickets. MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE of the area is required by the staff before international guests are instructed to park in those areas. We were really disappointed

Fantastic choice for families due to rooms with bunk beds, free laundry, and family room for hanging out. The breakfast buffet is particularly good - well above what we have had at other more expensive hotels. We especially appreciated the GF options. Location of the hotel is incredibly convenient with the airport bus and other city buses stopping right outside. The Royal Park across the street is beautiful for walks and picnics. All around perfect choice for Stockholm.

Fantastic hotel in great location, spanking clean! Large room with 2 bunk beds as well as crib provided for family with many kids, not common so central in Stockholm. Only negatives are the beds which are too soft and no coffee making facilities in the room.
