Hotel Europa

When I travel, location is everything. Obviously also clean and safe, but then add a bit of luxury and a lot of authentic and helpful people, this is really a great place! You are 30 seconds around the corner to the plaza and Sol Metro entrance. There are shops, sights and amazing neighborhoods in all directions. Every night as we returned from sightseeing and exploring, we went to the restaurant for a snack and a glass of wine. The food is delicious— try the croquetas caseras. The team there is extra special. They welcome you like you just returned home. Our waiter Jhonny was especially wonderful— so nice, personal, and professional. We stayed only a few days but at this hotel, we felt the people were like family.

The location is perfect for the tourist but There is no parking in this facility. We parked 6 minutes walking distance underground parking lot in Mayor street. It is acceptable. The room is reasonable space for a family of four. The price is reasonable as well.

I’m not sure why this is rated a 3 star hotel this is more of a 4. The rooms are clean comfortable and modern. The staff is friendly and it had a cafe inside. The hotel is conveniently located in the middle of Puerta del Sol, this is a family-friendly hotel and would definitely stay there again. A useful tip to know, is that it's located in a street where no cars are allowed after 11:00 am so if you arrive after that time, be prepared to drag your luggage at least 2 or 3 blocks, I definitely recommend this hotel !

Excellent location. You do have to walk or take the metro to get close to the property as it is right by the Puerta del Sol square that is not accessible to taxis. Wonderful family run hotel and great service.

When I visit Madrid I wouldn’t stay anywhere else than Hotel Europa!!!! The very BEST hotel in the heart of the center of Madrid. It’s the cutest family owned hotel with a wonderful, caring staff that take great care of you from the minute you walk in. The rooms are spotless, always Extremely clean. Easy walking access to restaurants, shops, metro and the main area of the city center is just outside your door!!! Highly recommend to anyone visiting Madrid. I am a Hilton Diamond Member and I can stay at any Hilton property around Madri with free upgrades, but in Madrid, I ONLY stay in my favorite Hotel Europa

Hotel Europa is the best hotel in the heart of Madrid. It’s the only hotel I stay in while visiting Madrid!!! Customer service is outstanding in this family owned hotel. Rooms are spotless

This hotel is all about location. The room was a little dated, but had an excellent 4 bed layout for our family. Cleanliness in the room was a little lacking unfortunately and the Air conditioning was a little weak. But being within walking distance of everything we wanted to see was great, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall a decent place to stay for a couple nights while touring Madrid.
