I’ll be honest. We were exhausted after an eight day cruise and we were ready for our rest day at the Intercontinental. This is an extremely five star accommodation and the staff exceeded expectations. The facility was modern and accessible. Sr. Elber went above and beyond for any of our needs. Thank you for having our family of six.

3 night stay with the family, excellent sized rooms, we had 2x twin standard. 5-10 min walk to metro, staff brilliant, whole hotel very clean. Would recommend Sec opposite for breakfast and Taps also just across the street for dinner & Tapas, recommend booking Taps as gets busy.

Our family enjoyed InterContinental Barcelona so much. It was in a quiet area, yet close to many attractions nearby. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We also enjoyed the 7th floor view of the city, ambiance, music and drinks. The rooms were very clean, big, and the two queen beds were perfect for our family. We would highly recommend this property for families with young children! Thank you InterContinental Barcelona for a wonderful stay!

Stayed here for 5 nights with the family after reading the reviews. I will stay here again. Pros: new ish hotel with modern feel, luxurious interior and friendly staff. The gentleman at the bar (I think his name is Miguel or so) was exceptionally brilliant, going over and beyond to make sure all guests were satisfied. Cons (the word “con” is probably too harsh for this): 10 minute ish drive from Plaza Catalunya which meant cab rides to the good restaurants and key attractions. It is close to the magic fountain though. All in all, I strongly recommend this hotel.

Staff was helpful. I booked a smaller room than we required. Front desk made an adjustment and put us in our room much earlier than we anticipated/ expected. Location was very walkable and the room was comfortable for our family.
