What a gorgeous hotel. Great for a family stay. The rooms are decorated beautifully and the staff took extra care to make us feel welcome. The area around Glòries is wonderful for shopping and walking, and the L1 subway line is very close by. We loved it and will be coming back.

The Huxton Poblenou doesn't deliver enough of a value proposition for the price we paid (475 CAD/night). In-room coffee was insulting (flimsy drip pouches that left grounds in my cup). Staff at Tope was slow and disinterested, the booking process disjointed and not to mention kids doing cannon balls in the pool. Asked housekeeping to return later, they never did. If you're going to market yourself as a boutique hotel, step it up and figure out who you're providing an experience for or lower the price point. The only thing going for you is your front desk/lobby staff.

New hotel! Everything was great and I surprised that it was so kid friendly for it being such a hip hotel

We had a lovely few days at The Hoxton and the hotel was a gem in the terrible weather while we were in Barcelona. The Tiny Hox pack provided for our toddler was great. It was disappointing there was no bedding for the cot provided, our 2 year had to sleep with towels. I would also provide a word of warning about the pool, you can only use it between 7am and 10:30am, unless you wish to pay. This is very misleading on the website and should be better advertised.

Lovely hotel, very clean, great quality and nice touches to rooms. Location is great if you don’t mind being a bit away from the busy centre. 15 mins walk to Sagrada familia, through a nice park with a great kids playground. Really nice shopping centre near by that’s handy…. The breakfast is great as not a mass produced buffet but a freshly cooked selection from a menu. Four corners is a brilliant place for a pizza too

Stayed there with extended family. It is an over priced hotel, a lot of style and cool vibes but missing on some essentials. Room has no wardrobe just a rail hanger. No drawers or shelves so your stuff stays in your suitcase. you need to request room clean and fresh towels. Price of drinks are eyewatering - 3.50 euro for a small bottle of water and 8.50 for a beer. If you want to use the sunbeds or cabanas it is 50-100 euro minimum spend on food/drinks. It is located in commercial area close to L1 line metro station so getting about is easy. nearest beach is 25 minute walk. Staff are friendly and speak good English. The roof top bar is very nice with fabulous views of the Sagrada. Though it closes at 11.00pm which I found strange for Spain. There are better and cheaper hotels with balconies, roof top bar and facilities. Whilst I enjoyed the stay going back to Barcelona I would get a better value hotel.
