Novotel Barcelona City

This is a nice business hotel in a good location, just across from the Westfield Glories mall. There were a few things that could have been done to make the stay better. -USB ports in the room (surprised this hotel doesn't have them and markets themselves as a business hotel, you need a full charger for every device) -One had a bin in the bathroom area, would have been nice to have one under the desk -Could not run a bath - now apparently this is due to the drought in Barcelona, but me running the water for 10 minutes trying to figure out how to plug the drain doesn't help. Staff downstairs wasn't helpful, said it was due to the drought, but there was no signage or anything in the bathroom. Pros - Nice children's area, filled with games, giant teddy bear all the children gravitated towards FYI - Breakfast is a bit of a rip off for the price. My family of 4 ate brunch next door at the Hoxton for the same price as the discounted breakfast at the hotel, no where near as crazy, messy or chaotic.

We were a family of 4...room was a good size for all of us, bathroom area excellent. Sofa bed was like a bit rigid per comments from the girls. I really like the area...near a super Shopping Mall and pharmacy 24 hr open. Room was clean, daily service awesome. We purchase the breakfast buffet in advance and it was a good deal. Buffet is awesome, many things to pick (love the bread options!). A metro station was close to the hotel (5-7 min walk). Sagrada Familia is around 30 min walking. The only cons (-) for me was that there is no laundry in the hotel...I had to walk like 6 blocks to the nearest one (pretty easy and convenient)...the staff was very helpful getting the info of the safest and closest laundry.

Very clean hotel with a wonderful breakfast, rooms are very small, especially for families but it works.

Too small room for a family

Located next to train station and public bus options. The hotel offers several desirable amenities outside of the room to include rooftop pool, breakfast buffet (additional fee), and room service. The rooms are not equipped for families, lacking microwave and refrigerator.

This is great experience for our family travel. We planned this trip three years ago and got to cancel it due to Covid. This time we stayed in the same facility and everything is great.

We booked a familiar room x 4 and the sofa bed for the kids was really bad it s not possible possible that a 4 stars hotel is prividing such a un uncomfortable bed.

We were very happy with our choice of Novotel City Barcelona. Very convenient for the tram and Metro (underground). Great rooms (we had family suites) with fantastic views and clean, well-equipped bathrooms and comfortable beds. The buffet breakfast was excellent, with choices to suit all tastes and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is approximately 20-25 mins walk from the Sagrada Familia so extremely convenient to the main attractions of Barcelona. It's also opposite a huge Westfield Shopping Centre which houses several restaurants. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel for friends, families or couples.

It was a great experience to stay there . My kids enjoy had lot of fun and comfort.

Everyone was fabulous. Our kids loved the pool and other amenities. We love the area and would definitely stay again. My only comment for consideration is that the carpet in our room was a little dirty and could use cleaning or replacing.
