Petit Palace Boquería Garden

Great hotel! It is conveniently located to so many things. It is just steps to La Ramblas, the food market (La Boqueria), and close to the hop on hop off bus stops. The staff is quite pleasant, the room was fantastic and spacious and we did not hear any noise from anywhere. We had a family type of room, with one room that had 2 bunk beds, and the main bedroom with a large bed, coffee maker, etc. There were two bathrooms in our room also which was great since we traveled with our kids. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location in an alley right by Las Ramblas and Gothic quarter. Although the area has homeless at night, we didn’t feel unsafe and were out walking with kids past 10 pm. The food selection and shops were all walking distance, such a convenient location! The hotel was clean, huge rooms, modern and large bathrooms. Breakfast was amazing and the garden was a great hangout spot before and after dinner for a drink. We will definitely be back.

We were delayed at check-in, but the staff were gracious and very nice. Excellent location and the family room for 6 is very comfortable.

Right next to La Rambla, excellent location for tourism. My kids and I had a very good stay.

Lovely staff, updated rooms, while still charming, and most importantly- very safe and centric! Went with my 2 kids and husband and it was wonderful! My parents are coming in a few months and I will be recommending this location.

Had an amazing stay for a few days with our family of 5. The bunk beds worked great and was pleased to have 2 full bathrooms. Loads to see and do nearby including a 24 hour super market.

Great location and close to the train station. We are a large family of five and the room had bunk beds and regular beds to accommodate us all.

This property is close to everything - steps off of La Rambla and in the Gothic Quarter. We could walk just about everywhere and cabs were easy to get if needed. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were cleaned every day. There was a Restaurant when we were too tired to go out. This is the perfect day for a small group or family.

Rented 2 rooms on March 22, 2023 for one night. Shortly after check-in, we noticed the rooms were hot and smelly. I contacted the front desk. They said all the A/C units were turned off. They only turn them on during the summer and that we had to sleep with the windows opened. It was a hot day and both rooms were hot inside. I asked them I wanted a refund ($250 per room) so we can stay at a different hotel with A/C. They refused, even after I explained to them that we had small children. I contacted Expedia and asked for assistance. At around 11pm they offered us rooms at a different hotel 10 minutes away. It was too late already to make the change at that time. We had no choice but to stay in hot rooms with ope ed windows and loud noise from the alleyway. The next day, management tells me they did everything in their power to solve the problem. Not! No accountability. Terrible experience. Pay more and stay at a better place.

I can’t speak for the property itself in my review, my rating is for complete lack of interest in refund due to my families flight cancellations that were out of our control, 4-days before flight date. Travellers should be aware that if you are outside of the refund policy they offer nothing back, not even a partial refund.! (Everyone else I dealt with for this planned holiday did provide full refunds)
