Hotel Denit Barcelona

Pros: 1) Clean 2) centrally located near Plaza Cataluña Cons: 1) VERY SMALL ROOM, no walking space or storage space (a cruise cabin is bigger). 2) The shower and toilet are located together behind a frosted glass door (the toilet paper got wet with shower), no privacy, not suitable for family of friends traveling together. 3) Located in an alley, dark and solitary at night

The room meant for 3 people is very questionable at best. A small child wouldn't be a problem, but a teenager then things become very tight. But daily room cleaning was much appreciated.

Great location. Excellent service, friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. Great for couples but not for families.. Really small rooms.

My family stayed for 4 days, 3 nights. Hotel location was convenient and accessible to public transportation. The hotel room itself was tiny but clean. You could practically hear the person next door sneeze, the walls seemed very thin.

Great little hotel just off Placa Catalunya (not even a minute’s walk), ideal location for the main square itself, plus tour busses, la rambla, shops and restaurants, as well as the airport shuttles. All the staff we spoke to were so friendly and helpful! The hotel is in a side street so doesn’t get a lot of foot traffic which is good for easy access and there’s a friendly bar 2 doors down. The hotels aesthetic is artistic and modern, it has a nice lounge/ reception area, the breakfast room feels spacious and open, the rooms are minimalistic but functional, the shower was lovely and the beds were comfy. We had a couple of maintenance issues with the safe and kettle, the staff tried their best to fix the safe and kept us updated with when maintenance would be coming etc, and they replaced the kettle as soon as we mentioned it. Some of the plug sockets were quite loose (they worked fine but just worth mentioning as I’m not sure how safe that would be for children) but this didn’t cause us an issue. Breakfast was fab, tasty hot options plus lots of fruit, pastries, yogurt, cereal, tea/ coffee and various fresh juice. The reception also had a bar with a small selection of soft and alcoholic drinks to purchase. I would definitely recommend this hotel, particularly if your going to do a lot of sightseeing
