Very friendly and attentive staff.. the room decor needs a refresh but it’s not too bad as you only need it for sleeping.. I booked two rooms for my family and had issues with the AC… it was either very loud, or not working efficiently. I’d recommend this place as the beach is literally on the door step, and nearby shops help you to get the basics.. If you’re a keen cyclist there are also local bike rental shops and plenty of dedicated cycle lanes.. Overall a decent hotel with great facilities for the family

Hotel rooms were small but extremely clean. Towels and beds changed every other day but rooms cleaned daily. We had no air conditioning for approx 3 days due to a fault with it. They told us twice that it had been fixed but it actually needed a new motor. This affected the comfort of our stay greatly. We were offered to move rooms on day 3 but by this time the motor had been replaced. We were not offered complimentary drinks or food or any partial refund. Such a shame as everything else was ok. Pool entertainment and kids club very good but had to search for times and details. Rooms have kettles but no coffee cups or spoons and no complimentary tea or coffee. There was an empty mini bar and 3 glasses. Bath and shower were both great. Balcony was very small, no space for a sunlounger.

Loved the hotel. Don't listen to the negative reviews- if you are not happy here, you won't find happiness anywhere else. Food choice is superb, hotel is spotlessly clean, staff cannot do enough for you, beach across the road, all the bars/clubs a 30 min walk/€5 euro cab ride to Puerto Del Carmen. This place is heaven. Broad spectrum of clients :- kids/couples/families/older/English/Irish/German/Spanish/Dutch Some say the pool is too cold. Trust me, the sea is colder. Also, when it is 34c the pool provides instant relief from the heat. Some say if all inclusive, the staff ignore you/give preference to those who pay with cash. I and others I spoke to who were all inclusive were treated like royalty. Give the staff a €1/2 tip each time they serve you - it is not going to break the bank, it goes in to the communal tip pot for all the staff and they really appreciate it. They will be at your beck and call. Some say the TV is rubbish.I have to agree that there is only Sky News in English and after 10 mins it is more that enough but do you really go on holiday in a lovely hotel by the sea to watch tv? The strip is a great place to shop. We eat out a few times and the food was lovely. The drinks are not measured- they just pour. There are 'seedy' areas that tend to be the side roads/backstreets so avoid. Some great tours can be bought at reception. The South tour is fantastic which includes volcano's, wine tasting, breathtaking scenery. Will definitely be back soon.

We arrived late at about 10pm and I wasn't expecting the cold meat/bread platter prepared especially for us! It was so nice to not have to worry about finding food at that time of night. The breakfast and dinner varieties were good. The staff very friendly and helped look after my daughter when she decided to run faster than me occasionally! She was always safe at the hotel especially once she got to know the entertainment team. I'm sure people can happily leave their children with them when proper classes happen but there weren't enough children for this. Really recommend to singles/retired/families! Caters for all.
