Hotel Bilbao Jardines

Very nice little hotel and very nice location. Newly remodeled bathroom and clean sheets. Overall very clean and very close to shopping and cafes. They were very attentive as I traveled with my family.

Firstly, this was a spacious lovely hotel I’d stay in again when I return. It was nestled into the heart of the old town- a walkable pedestrian only area from 11pm onward. This means that you can’t pull up in a car to the door to unload your luggage as we found out quite accidentally when we tried to drive through the pedestrian zone. Parking is not far and you can unload at the entrance of the Calle Jardines which is a 2 minute walk away. There was a real bathtub! Great for baby and they had a lovely cot made up for her when we arrived as I had asked! Shopping is right outside the door as well as fantastic restaurants and cafes. There is a lovely park 5 minutes away and we could walk to the Guggenheim- which was the purpose of our pilgrimage. My only negative is that the breakfast was underwhelming and lacked options. It was not worth 7euro.
